We’ll Do It Right This Time!
If you watched the news during the George Floyd and Antifa riots and similar incidents since, the participants had one thing in common: they refused to state what they believed or what their ideas for a better America were. Their immediate objective clearly was to destroy whatever they could.

Liberating Children—from Their Parents?
The war on parents has a new name: “adultism.” Some teacher training programs are increasingly portraying parental authority as “oppression”—casting children as the oppressed and parents as the oppressors. Parental authority is a sacred trust given by God. This isn’t education. It’s an attack on the family.

Simple Socialism, or Why Bernie’s AI-Envy is All Wrong
U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders wants to punish success instead of rewarding innovation. Envy has never created prosperity—freedom, innovation, and hard work have. Socialism's false promises of equality usually deliver less for everyone.

Preventing a Socialist American Revolution
America’s politics are turning from heated rhetoric to heated actions—where intimidation is excused as activism and violence is rebranded as “speech.” The real danger may not be a traditional civil war, but a “color revolution” push for regime change: escalating unrest until the public surrenders constitutionally protected rights simply to restore “peace.”

Socialism Undermines Faith, Family, and Freedom
America just elected a socialist mayor in its largest city—and many Christians don’t see a problem. Why? Because our culture, schools, and even some pulpits have forgotten how clearly Scripture contradicts socialism. We must understand how Marxism is a direct assault on faith, family, and freedom.

Communism, Control, and Our Future
There are of course entire libraries filled with books about socialism, Marxism, the Soviet Union, and so on. In my own personal library I have several hundred volumes on these topics. But this volume is one of the newest and best volumes available so far. It offers a sweeping yet detailed history of Communism covering the past 175 years or so.

The Incredible Shrinking Me
We are all infected from birth with an insatiable desire to be somebody. Even shyness is but an ironic twist on that desire. The Scriptures call it “the pride of life,” and names it as one of three categories under which all sins fall. Our hunger to be recognized or known colors everything we do.

Race to the Bottom
It is a sad truth that the United States, the wealthiest nation in the world and the one that spends more on education than any other, continues to see a decline in academic performance. Schools in Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C. now spend $30,000 and more per student. Only in a government-controlled system could spending rapidly increase while performance continually decreases.

The Alternate World Our Children Want to Live In
In his book, Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business, author Neil Postman describes the growth and outright dominance of the entertainment industry and the all-pervading influence it has had upon American culture. More to the point – the book illustrated how a culture could literally be dumbed down by the type of entertainment it dealt with and consisted of. Equally telling in the author’s mind was how much time was spent viewing and reading material that was as frivolously meaningless as it was sensual and vulgar.

Karl Marx’s Favorite Quote
It is incredible how a failed theory—Marxism—continues to make inroads into the hearts and minds of millions of fellow Americans. A new poll out the other week found that for the first time, a majority of Democrats say they prefer socialism over capitalism.
