State Rep. Jed Davis Calls for Accountability Concerning DCFS-Ignored Personnel Standards
Illinois families are at risk. DCFS is accused of letting unqualified interns investigate homes and ignoring laws that require reports on child deaths. Lawmakers and watchdogs say the agency has betrayed public trust—and children’s lives are on the line.

What You Lose When You Send Your Kids to Public School.
Some Illinois lawmakers want to regulate homeschooling through HB 2827, a bill that would mandate registration and give state bureaucrats significant new powers. This controversial bill, which passed committee despite massive public outcry, highlights a fundamental conflict: government control versus parental authority over children's upbringing.

Illinois Homeschoolers Under Attack
Even as suicide, drug abuse, sexual depravity, gender confusion, illiteracy, and violence reach record levels among children in Illinois government schools, leftist lawmakers and far-left media propagandists are painting a target on the backs of homeschool families in the state.

Observations from Springfield
The Democrats will still have supermajorities in each chamber of the Illinois General Assembly in the 104th General Assembly (2025-2026). It seems that they are primarily focused on legislative ways to “Trump-proof” Illinois, whatever that entails.

Critics Slam “Racist” Illinois Plan to Fund Colleges Based on Skin Color
Critical Race Theory and systemic racism in education are going to a whole new level in Illinois. In fact, under a proposed new scheme supposedly aimed at fighting alleged “disparities” in higher learning, people with darker complexions (or lower grades) will literally be worth more than those with lighter skin.

“There are two genders! Period.”
It doesn’t get any better (or worse) than this. Illinois State Senator Andrew Chesney (R-Freeport) forcefully addressed 58 elected adults in a chamber on an obvious fact that no one else would address: there are only two genders – male and female. He went on record, speaking directly to the Progressives on the Senate floor, in his powerful short speech against HB 2350, a bill to mandate that insurance companies now cover Pap smear tests for men and prostate exams for women.
