Federal Legislation Would Allow Americans to Sue Big Tech Companies

U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has introduced a bill that would allow Americans to sue companies such as Twitter, Google, and Facebook for censoring political speech. The bill comes as an activist NBC journalist contacted Google to demonetize The Federalist and then reported on it.

The Limiting Section 230 Immunity to Good Samaritans Act, which was introduced June 17 would amend Section 230 of the Communications Act of 1934, is co-sponsored by U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL), Mike Braun (R-IN), Tom Cotton (R-AR), and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA).

“Big Tech companies like Twitter, Google and Facebook,” Hawley said, “have used their …

Fomenting Racism in the 21st Century

The ideology of Black Lives Matter (BLM) and other “social justice” organizations teaches that all whites are racist oppressors, thereby justifying verbal attacks on people who are deemed inveterate racists and justifying riots to destroy everything that has emerged from an allegedly irremediable racist system. In promoting an explicitly racist ideology, BLM and other “social justice” organizations institutionalize racism, the fruits of which we are still suffering.

A Powerful Slogan Hides Core Issues

If you have logged on to Netflix, Amazon, and other places recently, you have probably seen some of corporate America’s virtue signaling through banners in support of Black Lives Matter.  By itself, it is a powerful slogan which no one can disagree with, even if you’d prefer to say all lives matter.  However, there’s more to this than just a slogan.

Evangelical Pastors Pander to Radical Black Lives Matter

What happened to you? When did you lose your conviction? When were you given over to a reprobate mind? When did your heart of flesh become a heart of stone? When did you lose your soul?

Blackout Silence

On Tuesday, June 2, 2020 the trend of posting a black screen was seen across social media.

According to Insider, Blackout Tuesday (with the use of the Blackout screen as a symbol) is “an initiative to go silent on social media, reflect on recent events, and stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.”

America Is Not Racist

I am really torn about what to say about the upheaval going on in our nation. I have spent a lot of time reading, researching, and listening to various sermons, presentations, and articles on things like the social justice movement, intersectionality, racism, cultural Marxism and virtue signaling in our culture and in our churches…

I recently had a “discussion” with someone that almost instantly turned into my having to prove I am not racist . . .  as defined, of course, by his perceptions, not my heart, or my statements, or my actions.

I love America and I love the …

Racism is Your Fault, You Just Don’t Realize It

There are a lot of really bad ideas swirling around our culture right now.  (That headline is one of them.)

Among many bad ideas, I am concerned about the things being embraced by various people and groups in a manner that has been termed “virtue signaling.” If you have not heard of this, think of Nike’s new commercials decrying racism, as if the whole world was eagerly waiting to know what a shoe company thinks. After all, we all know that the shoes we wear impact how we speak and behave towards each other. We must …

Because Black, Red, Yellow, Brown, and White Lives Matter, Let’s Help Them

Black lives do matter, but not because they’re black—which, as “progressives” continually tell us—is just a social construct. Black lives matter not because of the color of their skin but because they are human lives created in the image and likeness of God and endowed by God with unalienable, intrinsic rights.

Organized Rioters Attack U.S. Cities Across the State and Nation

Overt, organized violent riots over the weekend escalated in such a way that the governors in twenty-three states thought it was necessary to activate the National Guard to augment local police efforts. In Illinois, these riots were not limited to downtown Chicago but spilled over into various city neighborhoods and suburbs like Arlington Heights, Richton Park, Calumet City, Tinley Park, Riverside...

4 Reasons the Race Riots Do Far More Harm Than Good

As city after city in America is under assault, with buildings on fire and bloodied bodies laying in the streets, we need to unite in our condemnation of these violent riots. There is nothing righteous about looting. Or bashing someone over the head with a skateboard and pelting him with stones. Or vandalizing the store of a black business owner.

Wait Till You See What the National Education Association Is Up To

The first weekend in July, the National Education Association (NEA) held its annual Representative Assembly in Houston, an assembly consisting of “nearly 7,000 delegates.” The National Education Association is a “progressive” political activist organization that masquerades—er, I mean, identifies as an educational organization. The NEA’s Code of Ethics says, among other things, this:

Saving Charleston: Emanuel AME Christians Overcome Evil with Good

On the evening of June 17, 2015, at about 8:15 p.m., 21-year-old Dylann Roof pulled into the parking lot of Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal church in Charleston, SC, and casually entered the building through one of the side doors. Wednesday was Bible study night, and he quietly joined the small group of twelve. About forty-five minutes later, as everyone closed their eyes to pray, he pulled out a gun and started shooting. He then left the building as casually as he had entered it and drove away.

Fourteen hours later, Roof was apprehended without incident in Shelby, NC. Upon questioning, …

Bomberger: Black Lives Matter In and Out of the Womb

Ryan Bomberger, Chief Creative Officer and co-founder of The Radiance Foundation, recently spoke, by invitation, at an on-campus event hosted by the Wheaton College Republicans. In a presentation entitled Black Lives Matter In and Out of the Womb, Mr. Bomberger shares his compelling personal story and addresses the connection between race and abortion by utilizing video clips and fact-based graphics to illustrate this social injustice that specifically and disproportionately targets the black community.

As a self-proclaimed factivist, Bomberger speaks the truth – informed by Scripture and biblical principles – regarding the hypocritical alliance between Black Lives Matter …

How The ‘Revolution’ Is Eating Its Own

At a forum at the College of William & Mary on Sept. 27, the ACLU got a sample of what conservatives have been experiencing on campuses for years.

As Claire Gastanaga, executive director of the ACLU of Virginia, began speaking to a small audience, a group of demonstrators marched in with a large banner that said, “Blood on Your Hands.” They lined up in front of the stage, holding placards.

Apparently clueless about what was about to transpire, Ms. Gastaaga said, “Good. I like this. Good.”

She went on to say that she was going to inform the students …
