Be of Good Cheer About Brett Kavanaugh
By Laurie Higgins   |   07.11.18
In an email, conservative Chicago attorney Joseph A. Morris, former Assistant Attorney General of the United States, President and General Counsel of The Lincoln Legal Foundation, and frequent guest on WTTW’s “Chicago Tonight,” told IFI that he is “thrilled by the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh,” elaborating...
Perversion Poisons Childhood in America
By Laurie Higgins   |   07.05.18
Two young couples I know and their young children attended an Independence Day parade in a conservative town. For about the fourth year in a row, a homosexual “pride” float was a noxious presence in the parade. This year one of the fathers gave it a “thumbs down” as it passed by, which resulted in some other onlookers booing him. One man said to him, "think about the kids." Surely he jested.
Might NIFLA Help Overturn Bans on Same-Sex Attraction Counseling
By Laurie Higgins   |   06.29.18
So much good news from the U.S. Supreme Court this week, including the announcement of Justice Anthony Kennedy’s impending retirement and the 5-4 decision in the NIFLA v. Becerra case, which asserts that the speech of pro-life crisis pregnancy centers...
Sarah Huckabee Sanders & Family Kicked Out of Restaurant
By Laurie Higgins   |   06.23.18
On Friday night, Stephanie Wilkinson, owner of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, kicked out Sarah Huckabee Sanders and seven members of her family because Sanders works for the president. “Progressives”–once again demonstrating their inability to think analogically–believe this...
Accepting, Including, Embracing, and Sharing Deviance
By Laurie Higgins   |   06.11.18
What kind of twisted person makes a YouTube video in which she tells two five-year-old girls and two five-year-old boys that as a “child,” she “questioned” her sexuality and that she watched the movie Nell multiple times in order to see actress Jodie Foster naked?
Troubling SCOTUS Decision on Cake-Baker
By Laurie Higgins   |   06.08.18
In a 7-2 decision the U.S. Supreme Court decided in favor of Colorado baker Jack Phillips who was sued by a homosexual couple, Charlie Craig and Dave Mullins, for declining to bake a wedding cake for their pseudo-wedding. While the...
Child Sacrifice Legal in Ireland
By Laurie Higgins   |   06.04.18
Most Americans have seen footage of the obscene cheers of women and men in Ireland over the vote to repeal the 8th Amendment to the Irish Constitution which protected the right of the unborn simply to exist. Yes, they cheered for the legal right of women to have their own children exterminated. Mairead Enright of the Irish organization Lawyers for Choice perfectly captured the unholy essence of their response: “It’s feminist Christmas.”
Starbucks and Its Unconscious Employees
By Laurie Higgins   |   05.30.18
On Monday, there was a looong article in the Chicago Tribune's business section on Starbucks "unconscious bias" training (which, unless Starbucks' employees are unconscious, should probably be called "subconscious-bias training," but—to borrow from millennials—whatever).
Conversation with Homosexual Journalist
By Laurie Higgins   |   05.23.18
I was part of an extended Facebook conversation with Chuck Colbert, a homosexual journalist from the Boston area who graduated from Notre Dame University but has renounced his Catholic faith and converted to Reform Judaism. He expressed virtually every...
Intolerant Journalist Demonstrates Biblical Ignorance
By Laurie Higgins   |   05.21.18
Dahleen Glanton, columnist for the Chicago Tribune, recently penned a column about homosexuality that began with this ironic statement: “It is painful to acknowledge one’s own intolerance.” Glanton doesn’t say who’s experiencing this pain, but one thing’s for sure: It’s...
National Review Online Demagogue Taunts Conservatives
By Laurie Higgins   |   05.10.18
There’s a troubling piece titled “Time for a Compromise on Transgenderism” posted on National Review online and written by purportedly conservative, “gay vegetarian”  J. J. McCullough. In condescending language, McCullough argues that it’s time for Americans to hop...
More Dumb Stuff From Springfield Swampsters
By Laurie Higgins   |   05.03.18
Our “progressive” Springfield swampsters have found another way to waste the money of taxpayers and the time of bureaucrats in bankrupt, debt-ridden Illinois: A bill to create the “Illinois Women & Girls Council” has been sponsored in the Illinois House...
Springfield Swampsters Fear ONLY Private-Schooling Parents
By Laurie Higgins   |   05.02.18
Want to know who “progressives” in Springfield fear? They fear parents with kids in private schools. The rest of you are merely annoying gadflies to be swatted down with a rolled-up copy of their school sexuality-indoctrination bill and haughty flick...
Michelle Wolf’s Lewd Lupine Pasquinade
By Laurie Higgins   |   04.30.18
Full disclosure: I hate roasts of any kind. White House Correspondents’ Dinner gut-busting pasquinade by jokester Michelle Wolf makes it difficult to refrain from being as despicable as she was. First, some of her jokes: “Of course, Trump isn’t here…....
Queering Government Schools: Just Say No
By Laurie Higgins   |   04.24.18
For decades homosexual and “trans” activists have used schools to indoctrinate children with the disordered and destructive “LGBTQ” ideology. Thirteen years ago, the Journal of Gay & Lesbian Issues in Education published an article titled “Trans-Friendly Preschool” by now-ordained Rev....
