Reaffirming Parental Rights

We’re Losing the Children

What are we doing to our children? Today, children are told—starting at 3 or 4 years old—that we don’t really know if they are a boy or a girl. The doctor just guessed based on their appearance when they were born. Over the next few years, they are told, it is up to the child to discover if they are a boy, a girl, non-binary, fluid, or something else altogether.

Institutional Grooming in Illinois

It has been almost 20 years since it has been documented that children in our schools are in grave danger of being sexually abused by teachers. In 2004, Charol Shakeshaft completed a U.S. Department of Education sponsored study on Educator Sexual Misconduct. The seminal findings showed that 9.6% of children in our schools, public and private, are victims of educator sexual misconduct sometime between kindergarten and 12th grade.

Opt Your Child Out of Radical Sex Ed Classes

On August 20, 2021, Governor J.B. Pritzker signed into law a comprehensive sex-ed bill that sexualizes your child and strips them of their innocence beginning in kindergarten. According to this law, all government schools that provide personal health and safety courses must align their curricula with the National Sex Education Standards, formulated by so-called "experts" who supposedly know what's best for your child: Planned Parenthood, SIECUS, and GLSEN, among others. In other words, as these standards change, the Illinois sex ed curricula will change.

Sex Education Bill Pending Vote in Veto Session

Our Illinois state lawmakers will be returning to Springfield next week (October 25th-27th) and in early November (8th-10th) for the annual Fall Veto Session.

One of the bills that we are working against is HB 3027 — a bill being promoted by the ACLU of Illinois. This unnecessary and ill-conceived proposal mandates that every public school which teaches sex education in grades 6-12 must teach “comprehensive” sex education.
