The Man Who Passed Every Background Check
Background checks are a tool, not a shield. As the statistics show, relying solely on them gives organizations a false sense of security while predators—who often have clean records—gain access to children. We must re-establish the character standard and diligently watch for patterns of behavior, not just clear records

Illinois Bureaucrats Are Disqualified to Oversee Homeschoolers
In various media interviews, State Representative Terra Costa Howard (D-Lombard) has repeatedly claimed that there are no regulations in Illinois for homeschoolers. This is not true. Moreover, she has repeatedly suggested that state lawmakers “have to do something to make sure that kids are receiving an education,” yet year after year public school systems miss the academic mark for a majority of their students.

The seminal findings showed that 9.6% of children in our schools, public and private, are victims of educator sexual misconduct sometime between kindergarten and 12th grade.

Illinois Public Schools Battle Plague of Violence, Sexual Abuse
Lawmakers and union bosses are increasingly speaking out against the violence and rampant sexual abuse that plagues children in government schools across Illinois and beyond. Laws have even been proposed and passed to supposedly deal with the escalating crisis.
However, nothing is being done to address the root causes of the problem: godlessness, hopelessness, and the lack of accountability for students and adults, all of which permeate government-controlled “education” today.
