The Orchard Evangelical Free Church and Pride Proclamations

In 2021 perversion activists were successful in pressuring several local governments to either fly the perverted pride flag in June or pressure city councils to pass a Pride Resolution for the month of June. For three years the Arlington Heights city council has passed a resolution declaring June to be Pride Month. These resolutions have been signed by Mayor Tom Hayes who is a member in good standing of The Orchard Evangelical Free Church.

The Christian Private School Option

Public school, homeschool, or Christian private school? These are the options Christian parents have before them when deciding where their kids are going to spend the majority of their time growing up. Who is going to be their main influence? What worldview will they be taught? A godless, Marxist, racially divided and highly sexualized worldview or a Biblical worldview that teaches love for God and neighbor, good character and a strong work ethic?

Illinois State Lawmakers Rescind Parental Rights, Conscience Rights

I know we shouldn't be surprised. We know intuitively and intellectually that the nature of Big Government is tyranny. Yet I was stunned to watch Illinois Democratic State Lawmakers intentionally and aggressively pursued an agenda to diminish the civil rights of its people. Not only did they attack health care conscience rights protections, but they also repealed Illinois' last major abortion regulation which ensured the rights of parents/guardians to be notified when their minor daughter seeks to have an abortion.

The National Day of Pray is Vitally Important This Year

This National Day of Prayer May 7, 2020 will be like no other. Since its inception in May 1952 under President Harry S. Truman, the day has been observed with large public events. While the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the shutdown of all public events, but prayer and the event will still go on. The event has moved online and prayer has never been more important.
