May God Have Mercy Upon Us and Our Troubled Country
By Robert Knight   |   12.07.20
With our nation on a razor’s edge, the days are getting shorter — and darker.

In fact, the winter solstice is coming in a couple of weeks on Dec. 21, marking the shortest day on the calendar and thus the darkest time of the year.
Skipping Hollywood for the Promised Land
By Robert Knight   |   10.22.20
Created by evangelical Christian filmmaker Dallas Jenkins, son of “Left Behind” co-author Jerry Jenkins, “The Chosen” has gripping stories and superb acting.  At the 2020 Christian Film & Television Commission’s MOVIEGUIDE awards, “The Chosen” finished in the top three in television for the Epiphany Prize.  Mr. Roumie won the television Grace Award for his portrayal of Jesus in “The Chosen: Episode 8: I Am He.”
Handmaids of Bigotry
By Robert Knight   |   10.13.20
Well, they dusted off those colorful “Handmaid’s Tale” outfits that were so visible at Brett Kavanaugh’s SCOTUS confirmation hearings in 2018.
Pushing Back the Indoctrination
By Robert Knight   |   10.07.20
From the president on down, we’re seeing a welcome pushback against Marxist indoctrination in our colleges, government agencies, and even the military. It had better happen soon, too, because in K-12 schools, hapless children are being subjected to the awful, anti-American 1619 Project and Black Lives Matter curricula. But at least there is movement at the top of the academic and government food chains.
Words Matter
By Robert Knight   |   09.03.20
One of the most effective ways that Marxists advance their agenda is to change how we talk about things. When clever rewordings replace the truth, it’s easier to fool people. For example, the Washington Post this past week said a transgender plaintiff “was designated female at birth, but identifies as male.”

In the blink of an eye, a biological fact – that someone was born a girl – is brushed aside and replaced with a term that implies that male or female sex is assigned, not a natural phenomenon.
Karl Marx and Black Lives Matter
By Robert Knight   |   08.22.20
An important new book by historian Paul Kengor sheds considerable light on Karl Marx and by implication the madness and mob violence that has descended on the country.

The throngs setting fire to police stations, looting stores and tearing down America’s cultural history are acting in the name of Black Lives Matter, a Marxist group that our ruling elites have airbrushed and turned into a totem of worship.
Imagining a Vain Thing
By Robert Knight   |   07.08.20
We don't have to imagine what life would be like without laws to secure life, civil rights and property, or faith in God. It's been in front of us ever since protests of George Floyd's killing in late May morphed into a violent revolution.
Our Brave New World’s Defiance of Science
By Robert Knight   |   07.29.19
For years, the Left has claimed to be the party of science, while casting religious conservatives as ignorant, superstitious louts. But evidence is mounting that it’s the other way around, and has been for some time. After all, who are...
Socialism Violates All Ten Commandments
By Robert Knight   |   07.03.19
With a couple dozen Democrat presidential hopefuls vying to see who’s pinker, perhaps it’s time to contrast socialism with something more helpful and permanent:  The Ten Commandments. Socialism teaches that wealth should be held in common ownership, controlled by the...
When ‘Equality’ Means Anything but Reality
By Robert Knight   |   06.29.19
The conceit of our age is that we can alter reality at a whim. We’re really that smart and powerful. We not only can control the planet’s weather, but we can defy God’s essential design for life, reflected in nature...
Watching a Bully Get Smacked
By Robert Knight   |   04.11.19
It appears that the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is having a long overdue comeuppance.Seven years ago, inspired by SPLC’s “hate map,” a gunman walked into the Family Research Council (FRC) in Washington, intending to massacre the staff and then ...
Having a Merry Pagan Christmas
By Robert Knight   |   12.19.18
New York Times columnist Ross Douthat says the culture war in America may not be so much about secularism or atheism replacing Christianity but the rise of an old Christian foe – paganism. This ancient religion differs from atheism in...
The Sensation Nation
By Robert Knight   |   11.26.18
A common refrain when people lament violence, sex and f-bombs in movies, goes: “How did we get from the golden days of Hollywood to this?” Actually, Hollywood, with many notable exceptions, has been at war with decency and American values since its inception. It just wasn’t as starkly apparent.
The Confusion Racket
By Robert Knight   |   11.20.18
Almost anywhere you look, we’re being fed illusory notions that serve somebody’s interest. Some of the deceptions are minor or even harmless.  Especially in show business.
Denying Reality at a Steep Price
By Robert Knight   |   10.31.18
The idea of two distinct sexes has been acknowledged as fundamental reality for thousands of years by billions of people, biology and every major religion. The Trump administration agrees, which is why the Health and Human Services Department is circulating...
