This is like nothing I’ve ever written before. It’s an open plea for prayer, an open window into my heart and that of my wife, Sarah, and an open last-ditch effort to reach out to a cherished young Jewish woman...

Another anti-family abortion-related bill, HB 887 (Amendment 1), passed out of the House Human Services Committee yesterday – the same committee that killed common-sense pro-life bills and a bill to protect students’ privacy in bathrooms and locker rooms (HB 4474), to name just a few.

This year my organization joined with our Roman Catholic allies in filing a legal brief with the U.S. Supreme Court asking the court to uphold Texas’ laws regulating the abortion industry. That isn’t all that surprising. After all, Catholics and evangelicals have been working together for decades to uphold the sanctity of human life. What was surprising was that an opposing brief, filed by a Baptist church, argued that legal abortion is moral and just.

Now that President Barack Obama has nominated Federal Judge Merrick Garland for the U.S. Supreme Court, Senate Republicans are under pressure to confirm the selection before the Presidential election.

The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) recently released an analysis of abortion as an election issue. The analysis and the corresponding Forbes editorial, authored by AEI senior fellow Karlyn Bowman, attempts to argue that abortion is a relatively unimportant issue. In her op-ed Bowman states that when voters are asked to rank the importance of various issues, abortion usually comes in near the bottom. She also notes that relatively low percentage of voters cast their vote solely on the issue of abortion. But a closer look at AEI’s analysis indicates that abortion has actually increased in importance over the past 20 years.

An attorney representing two undercover life activists says, the defense is working vigorously to have the charges brought against David Daleiden and his associate dismissed. Daleiden’s attorney, Peter Breen, says that Planned Parenthood’s legal punches could bring even more negative...

Abortion and promiscuity. Planned Parenthood and “slut shaming.” I was reminded on this, the 43rd anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s disgraceful Roe v. Wade abortion-on-demand opinion, how inexorably linked are America’s abortion death culture and her ongoing sexual revolution....

As Roe v. Wade turns 43 this week and Americans mark more than four decades of unlimited abortions, new polling data shows they want a change in the direction of protecting unborn children.

Last year, a number of academics penned a letter to the Obama administration demanding a criminal RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) investigation into those who disagree with man-made global warming, following the lead of Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I.
As we wrote at the time, this would be an abuse of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations law—a law designed to go after organized crime, such as drug cartels and the Mafia.
