We then asked why male contraceptives might be in such high demand. To do this, we went on a brief excursion about The Lie: Women are exactly like men, and should be treated exactly like them. We also talked about how The Lie never really works, because men and women will always be fundamentally different. And when we crash into this fact, we often turn on the men to “level the playing field.”

The Lie
A recent Axios article reports that a new "birth control pill" for men has started its early phase human trial. This once-a-day pill would inhibit a process involving vitamin A, which is implicated in male sperm production.

For all that Dobbs did for the fight for life, there's one issue that it conspicuously avoided—whether the unborn are in fact human persons. Dobbs repeatedly made reference to supposed "fetal life," but refused to claim that this fetal life was the life of a person and thus entitled to protection.
