Facebook Censoring? Say it Ain’t So!
By Laurie Higgins   |   08.10.18
Among the reasonable and fairly well-defined criteria Twitter uses to censor content is this more ambiguous criterion: content “that incites fear about a protected group” or that “degrades someone.” Does Twitter think it’s degrading to say “homosexual acts degrade persons”?...
Trouble in the Evangelical Covenant Church
By Laurie Higgins   |   08.08.18
This is a story that illuminates the critical importance of sound church leadership informed by unequivocal, courageous commitment to biblical truth. No Protestant denomination will be spared attacks on theological orthodoxy by apostates and heretics who view Scripture as a...
Is ANYONE Affected by “Trans” Deviance?
By Laurie Higgins   |   08.06.18
We often hear the question, “How does _____ (fill in the blank with some sexually deviant activity) affect you?” Such a question reveals an all-too-common degree of ignorance about how ideas affect culture. Such a question ignores how much time...
Lawsuit Against State of Illinois’ Unconstitutional Ban on Counseling for Minors
By Laurie Higgins   |   07.30.18
IFI is asking for help from supporters in moving forward an important lawsuit against the state of Illinois. In light of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in favor of pro-life crisis pregnancy centers in California (NIFLA v. Becerra) and with...
No Surprise, Leftists Want to Fight Dirty
By Laurie Higgins   |   07.16.18
"Progressives" control academia, government schools, the mainstream press, professional medical and mental health organizations, the arts, and are infiltrating even churches. And now they seek absolute control over the judiciary through “court-packing.” They want constitutional revisionists to dominate the Supreme Court even if that means expanding the number of Justices. And some of them openly share their reasons for this proposal, thus exposing the brazenness of their tyrannical quest to transform America into a totalizing and totalitarian “progressive” dystopia.
White Men Accused of Rape and Sodomy
By Laurie Higgins   |   07.13.18
Race-based hostility has intensified over the past ten years, hostility that is exacerbated by political policies that harm the black community, political rhetoric that seeks to maintain racial division, and government schools that embrace and promote Critical Race Theory. Over...
Be of Good Cheer About Brett Kavanaugh
By Laurie Higgins   |   07.11.18
In an email, conservative Chicago attorney Joseph A. Morris, former Assistant Attorney General of the United States, President and General Counsel of The Lincoln Legal Foundation, and frequent guest on WTTW’s “Chicago Tonight,” told IFI that he is “thrilled by the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh,” elaborating...
Perversion Poisons Childhood in America
By Laurie Higgins   |   07.05.18
Two young couples I know and their young children attended an Independence Day parade in a conservative town. For about the fourth year in a row, a homosexual “pride” float was a noxious presence in the parade. This year one of the fathers gave it a “thumbs down” as it passed by, which resulted in some other onlookers booing him. One man said to him, "think about the kids." Surely he jested.
Might NIFLA Help Overturn Bans on Same-Sex Attraction Counseling
By Laurie Higgins   |   06.29.18
So much good news from the U.S. Supreme Court this week, including the announcement of Justice Anthony Kennedy’s impending retirement and the 5-4 decision in the NIFLA v. Becerra case, which asserts that the speech of pro-life crisis pregnancy centers...
Sarah Huckabee Sanders & Family Kicked Out of Restaurant
By Laurie Higgins   |   06.23.18
On Friday night, Stephanie Wilkinson, owner of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, kicked out Sarah Huckabee Sanders and seven members of her family because Sanders works for the president. “Progressives”–once again demonstrating their inability to think analogically–believe this...

Accepting, Including, Embracing, and Sharing Deviance
By Laurie Higgins   |   06.11.18
What kind of twisted person makes a YouTube video in which she tells two five-year-old girls and two five-year-old boys that as a “child,” she “questioned” her sexuality and that she watched the movie Nell multiple times in order to see actress Jodie Foster naked?

By Laurie Higgins   |   06.08.18
In a 7-2 decision the U.S. Supreme Court decided in favor of Colorado baker Jack Phillips who was sued by a homosexual couple, Charlie Craig and Dave Mullins, for declining to bake a wedding cake for their pseudo-wedding. While the...
Child Sacrifice Legal in Ireland
By Laurie Higgins   |   06.04.18
Most Americans have seen footage of the obscene cheers of women and men in Ireland over the vote to repeal the 8th Amendment to the Irish Constitution which protected the right of the unborn simply to exist. Yes, they cheered for the legal right of women to have their own children exterminated. Mairead Enright of the Irish organization Lawyers for Choice perfectly captured the unholy essence of their response: “It’s feminist Christmas.”
Starbucks and Its Unconscious Employees
By Laurie Higgins   |   05.30.18
On Monday, there was a looong article in the Chicago Tribune's business section on Starbucks "unconscious bias" training (which, unless Starbucks' employees are unconscious, should probably be called "subconscious-bias training," but—to borrow from millennials—whatever).
