By Calvin Lindstrom   |   09.29.22
Christians must keep in mind that God is sovereign. The destiny of our nation is not ultimately in our power to control. That said, we live in a country that we the people govern, and so we have the privilege, right, and obligation to govern wisely.

By Laurie Higgins   |   09.14.22
Leftists, practiced at the art of deception, do not care about anyone who lives in America. They care about one thing: maintaining power at all costs. And they think catering to criminals will achieve that goal. The most controversial provision of this 763-word behemoth that was passed in the middle of the night, takes effect on Jan. 1, 2023 and is just now receiving its overdue public outcry.

Illinois State Lawmakers Rescind Parental Rights, Conscience Rights
By David E. Smith   |   10.28.21
I know we shouldn't be surprised. We know intuitively and intellectually that the nature of Big Government is tyranny. Yet I was stunned to watch Illinois Democratic State Lawmakers intentionally and aggressively pursued an agenda to diminish the civil rights of its people. Not only did they attack health care conscience rights protections, but they also repealed Illinois' last major abortion regulation which ensured the rights of parents/guardians to be notified when their minor daughter seeks to have an abortion.

Time Sensitive Matter for Prayer and Action: Oppose Big Centralized Government
By Calvin Lindstrom   |   05.25.21
We are asking for your special prayer and action on one bill in particular, HB 2789, because of a hearing that is scheduled for Wednesday morning, May 26th.

This bill adds an amendment to an existing law which will grant Springfield sole authority to determine whether, when, and under what conditions public schools can return to in-person instruction in the event of a public health crisis. It takes away local control, and centralizes power in Springfield.
