We truly don’t understand the perversity and depravity of the transgender movement. We truly have no idea the level of devastation that takes place in families whose husband/father decides that he is going to be a female regardless of the mortifying after-shocks to the wife and children. Illinois State Representative Dagmara Avelar and Senator Karina Villa are sponsoring legislation to strengthen protections for abortion access. Building on Illinois’s existing shield law, HB 3637 preempts federal law by prohibiting the Department of Health from disciplining providers whose licenses, registrations, or permits were revoked in other states for performing abortions or similar procedures.

We just finished a week of relief as both chambers of the Illinois General Assembly adjourned and went home last week for Easter. The Illinois House is scheduled to return to the Capitol tomorrow. The Illinois Senate is scheduled to return next week, on April 29th.

The Illinois Senate will be back in Springfield on Tuesday, April 1st. But the Illinois House will not be back until April 7th. All this week state representatives will be in their district offices so it is a good time to gather a few like-minded friends and schedule a visit with them. They need to hear from us!
