It's been a year and a half since the Dobbs decision put Roe v. Wade in the dustbin, but abortion is still alive and well in many parts of the U.S. When you are zealously committed to a false conception of rights—and that's being charitable about the motives of abortion providers—you will find any way possible to keep the industry going.

The New Year brings the annual tradition of resolutions. In February of last year, the Fisher College of Business reported that “only 9% of Americans that make resolutions complete them"…that 23% of people quit their resolution by the end of the first week, and 43% quit by the end of January. 

It's been about 18 months since Dobbs was handed down, and I still remember the elation mixed with near-disbelief that I felt when I first heard the news. As with many of the most important memories in life, I even remember where I was when I was told—standing in the dining room of a summer retreat center on a sunny June day.

Just before Thanksgiving, America’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, sent an email to its supporters, seeking to help them “open someone’s mind on sexual and reproductive rights”, aka abortion, during the holidays. The following is a response to their talking points:

Which side are you on? Do you know? There are only two. From the moment you get up in the morning until you go to sleep at night, you take one side or the other.

Words cannot express the horror and disgust that have been aroused by the recent surprise attacks on Israel by Hamas.  The wanton torture, slaughter, and kidnapping of innocent children, youth, and elderly by Hamas terrorists cannot be justified, and witnesses declare that the unspeakable atrocities they committed are reminiscent of the Holocaust! Never underestimate a heart of hatred. Every day in the news there are acts of unspeakable brutality around our world. Over the last several days, Israel has witnessed again just how deep the work of the Evil One can unfold in a human heart. On Wednesday of this week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed his nation detailing atrocities that had occurred during the terrorist incursion into Israel last weekend. It wasn’t just killing. It was how people died.

You'll find specifications for the priesthood illustrating Christ's mediation and showing how holy God is. You'll find records of the Israelites' many blunders into sin that show us just how serious our own blunders are.

This is an opportunity to push our culture away from abortion and towards life.  Changing our culture requires bold and clear communication that reaches a large audience.  This is an opportunity to save mothers and babies from abortion.  Many who see these billboards will someday play a role in deciding whether or not they will abort an innocent baby.
