This year’s theme, "Stand Grounded in Christ," promises to challenge and equip attendees with Biblical truths to direct the children and young people entrusted to their care “in the way they should go.” This annual homeschool conference will be held at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais between May 19th to the 22nd.

Parents, grandparents and Christian leaders must understand how morally and intellectually unmoored activists are corrupting our children. Many of these activists are teaching our children in our government schools. They propagandize in many ways, including through literature, direct instruction, and demagoguery. They propagate highly controversial beliefs without telling young students that the “explanations” are controversial, disputed, pagan-based, and devoid of scientific support.

The Illinois Chapter of the Association for the Supervision of Curriculum Development (ASCD) is sponsoring its annual Pre-K and Kindergarten Conference next week in Schaumburg, Illinois. One of their scheduled speakers was Tell Williams IV, an openly homosexual, faux-married pre-K teacher at a private school in a Philadelphia suburb. According to Real Time Michiana, in between preparing his lessons for preschoolers, Williams posts pornographic videos of himself on the adults-only, subscription website Only Fans. Just last week, administrators at Edison Middle School in Wheaton, Illinois allowed student members of the blacks-only “Panthers in Black” school club to lecture peers on the intricacies of using various forms of the “n” word. Students learned who is permitted to use the “n” word and which “n”-word suffix is appropriate in what context. Parents of students forced to listen to this non-voluntary lecture were not notified ahead of time or asked to sign a permission slip.

Once upon a time, I held a naïve hope that public education could be pried loose from the iron grip of self-righteous, presumptuous, intolerant, diversity-loathing, illiberal, idea-banning, bullying leftists fluent in Newspeak. That was then. This is now.

Now I know that is not possible—at least not in time to educate properly children who are currently in school or soon-to-be in school. There are good signs that a movement is afoot to challenge the MAN—who now is a homosexual, drag queen who uses the pronouns fae, faer, faers, and faerself.

It is also a frightening time for both the students and their parents as these young adults test their independence. It is not uncommon to hear about students from loving Christian homes that find themselves in a predicament because they were unprepared to deal with the peer pressures of alcohol, drugs, or sex on the college campus.
