Illinois Senate Passes Suicide Bill at 3 AM
A razor-thin vote at 3 AM advanced dangerous legislation that puts the vulnerable at risk. Governor Pritzker now holds the pen — and the power to stop the normalization of suicide in Illinois. He needs to hear from us.

IFI Statement on the “Equality for Every Family Act”
Illinois lawmakers have chosen ideology over integrity. By embracing Gov. Pritzker’s so-called Equality for Every Family Act, they’ve redefined parenthood, erased motherhood and fatherhood, and treated children as commodities in a social experiment that defies both nature and God’s design.

School District 128 Continues to Violate Title IX
On August 29, 2024, an 18 year-old adult male student walked unannounced into Libertyville High School’s girls’ locker room. He proceeded to change in front of minor girls. Not only this, he – a legal adult – observed the girls as they changed.

What You Lose When You Send Your Kids to Public School.
Some Illinois lawmakers want to regulate homeschooling through HB 2827, a bill that would mandate registration and give state bureaucrats significant new powers. This controversial bill, which passed committee despite massive public outcry, highlights a fundamental conflict: government control versus parental authority over children's upbringing.

State Rep. Grasse Offers Another “Prayer” of Empty Platitudes
State Rep. Grasse opened an Illinois House session with a prayer this week that omitted any reference to God as the source of wisdom. She missed the opportunity to offer a prayer expressing gratitude to our Creator—who endowed us with "certain unalienable rights"—and seeking divine guidance for the state's leadership. Such a prayer would be both inclusive and profoundly appropriate.

		Abortion is Never “Safe”
A horrifically botched late-term abortion performed by an Illinois abortionist once again highlights the inhumane practice of abortion.

The Orchard Evangelical Free Church and Pride Proclamations
In 2021 perversion activists were successful in pressuring several local governments to either fly the perverted pride flag in June or pressure city councils to pass a Pride Resolution for the month of June. For three years the Arlington Heights city council has passed a resolution declaring June to be Pride Month. These resolutions have been signed by Mayor Tom Hayes who is a member in good standing of The Orchard Evangelical Free Church.
I was personally not aware of what took place in 2021 until later in the summer. After a second resolution was passed in 2022, …

		The Christian Private School Option
Public school, homeschool, or Christian private school? These are the options Christian parents have before them when deciding where their kids are going to spend the majority of their time growing up. Who is going to be their main influence? What worldview will they be taught? A godless, Marxist, racially divided and highly sexualized worldview or a Biblical worldview that teaches love for God and neighbor, good character and a strong work ethic?

Illinois State Lawmakers Rescind Parental Rights, Conscience Rights
I know we shouldn't be surprised. We know intuitively and intellectually that the nature of Big Government is tyranny. Yet I was stunned to watch Illinois Democratic State Lawmakers intentionally and aggressively pursued an agenda to diminish the civil rights of its people. Not only did they attack health care conscience rights protections, but they also repealed Illinois' last major abortion regulation which ensured the rights of parents/guardians to be notified when their minor daughter seeks to have an abortion.

The National Day of Pray is Vitally Important This Year
This National Day of Prayer May 7, 2020 will be like no other. Since its inception in May 1952 under President Harry S. Truman, the day has been observed with large public events. While the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the shutdown of all public events, but prayer and the event will still go on. The event has moved online and prayer has never been more important.
