On Saturday, April 25th, California school teacher, Cole Tomas Allen attempted to assassinate President Trump and other Trump officials at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
In his manifesto, Allen describes himself first and foremost as a “citizen of the United States of America.”
Later on, he identify himself as a Christian and the “Friendly Federal Assassin.” Two things which are opposing realities.
Other news outlets have adequately addressed the devastating moral impact of the Left’s slanderous rhetoric over the years of such as “Trump is Hitler,” “the Administration is the Third Reich,” etc.
As a school teacher, the contents of Allen’s manifesto shines a bright spotlight into the moral decay, indoctrination and continued failure of our public school system.
In the words of Erika Kirk,
“It was a school teacher, of all people – a school teacher that attempted to change our history for the worst with bullets.”
While this may have been shocking to some, for those of us who have continued to watch and warn parents about the dangers of the government school system, we are not surprised.
For decades, the government education system has continued to indoctrinate our children with radical ideologies that incite violence and hatred of our country. He and many others are products of these lies.
In Illinois specifically, this looks like the following:
- Illinois requires mental health screenings in schools – a policy which strips parents of their role as their child’s advocate, risking radical interventions such as gender-affirming care. These same people doing the screening believe a boy can become a girl.
- LGBTQ+ curriculum including the requirement for students to learn LGBTQ history in order to graduate.
- Some Illinois public schools have recently come under fire for their refusal to adhere to Title IX, which prohibits biological males from using biological female’s private areas (bathrooms, locker rooms).
- Many Illinois school districts allow students to use names/pronouns in adherence with their gender identity – not their biological sex, even without parent’s knowledge.
- Illinois encourages teachers to teach about systematic inequality and CRT.
- Many Illinois school board meetings have gone viral for their allowance of p*rn content LGBTQ books in school libraries. In 2023, legislators passed a law the prohibits the removal of these books.
- Radical “comprehensive” sex education is taught beginning in kindergarten.
- Tampons are required to be placed in boys’ public school bathrooms.
- In 2025, 50% of Illinois students read at grade level, up from 31.1% in 2024. The reason for the increase? Last year, the state lowered the standards.
- In 2025, 4% of Illinois students reached proficiency in math, up from 26.1% in 2024. Once again, last year the standards were purposely lowered.
- The average ACT scores (which determines college readiness) is below the national average at 18.8.
These policies and statistics only show a small picture of how the government school system has failed students.
While it is absolutely necessary to acknowledge the threat that illegal immigration poses to the safety and security of our country, the recent assassination attempt also shows that America is in danger of being destroyed from within.
It was not an illegal immigrant who assassinated Charlie Kirk.
It was not an illegal immigrant who attempted to assassinate President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania.
It was not an illegal immigrant who attempted to assassinate President Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
All of these attempts were carried out by radicalized American citizens.
In the case of Cole Tomas Allen, it is this radicalized school teacher that was responsible for teaching and prepping students for college.
In fact, he won “Teacher of the Month” in December of 2024.
Parents, all of these facts point to one conclusion.
The government school system has failed at every level: morally, spiritually, academically, practically, and legally.
For this coming academic school year (2026-2027), it is time for parents to seriously rethink the fitness of government schools.
In the words of Charlie Kirk,
“There is a left-wing bias in our education system.”
Get. Them. Out.
