For more than 60 years, the IRS has used the “Johnson Amendment” to censor what churches and pastors preach from the pulpit. Under the Johnson Amendment, pastors' First Amendment rights have become bargaining chips to be exchanged for a tax status. Pastors who share truth on biblical issues – like the sanctity of life and marriage – could risk intrusive IRS audits, incur steep fines, and even jeopardize their church’s tax-exempt status.

The cultural war is going to continue to become weirder. Some might reasonably think that nothing stranger can follow the Leftists’ call for everyone to accept transgenderism as normal. But then there are all those other letters that follow the “T” in LGBT. You may have seen different variations on the list: LGBTQIA is a popular one (Q=queer or questioning/I=intersex/A=Ally).

A hundred major corporations, ranging from Target to American Airlines to Best Buy, have signed on to an LGBTQ activist coalition supporting the “Equality Act,” which would federalize homosexuality and transgenderism as “civil rights” categories in the law.

The U.S. House of Representatives will vote in the coming days on a bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks up until the time of birth. The bill is a top priority of national pro-life groups, which demonstrate that pre-born babies can feel pain at 20 weeks gestation and beyond.
