As you’re probably aware, the term “Christian Nationalist” has been getting quite a bit of airtime in the last couple years. However, of the hundreds (yes, hundreds) of articles being written about the deadly threat that Christian Nationalism supposedly poses to the United States, most seem unconcerned about offering a strict definition.

A few years ago, I offered to help an organization I had worked with in the past. They were excited by my offer, since they had followed my work for years and agreed wholeheartedly with the positions I had taken. I had also made clear that I was not concerned about compensation. My goal was to help.

Recent assessments declare or imply that the church in America is dying. One headline described it this way: “Axios begins countdown to death of Christianity.”

We are all familiar with the expressions, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” or, “A stitch in time saves nine,” meaning it is wise to catch a problem early, while it is small and manageable, rather than to wait until it has grown and become a serious threat. We understand this with things like weeds in our garden or cancer.  But somehow, we neglect it in the arenas of politics and culture. 

If you follow news stories about transgender issues among U.S. children, you are likely concerned by the exponential increase in trans-identifying youth and the dramatic institutional shifts towards “gender affirming care” being offered and available to adolescents—both with or without parental consent. Perhaps you’re familiar with Abigal Shrier’s well-researched yet controversial book, Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters, or Ryan Anderson’s book, When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Movement.

I know I’m not the only one who has noticed the uptick in crime lately. Anyone paying attention has seen frequent and numerous examples cited in the news or on social media. Yet the Democrat lawmakers who remain in control...

Christians must keep in mind that God is sovereign. The destiny of our nation is not ultimately in our power to control. That said, we live in a country that we the people govern, and so we have the privilege, right, and obligation to govern wisely.

Roe v. Wade had long been a prize jewel in the crown of leftist accomplishments. And Democrats fought hard against appointing the new justices who recently overthrew it. Now that it's gone, the liberals are destroying every obstacle they can to get it back. Next target: the U.S. Senate filibuster.

Are today’s journalists and news outlets doing their jobs well? According to journalists themselves, yes. According to the public, no.
