The Abortion Lobby’s Sudden Reversal on “DIY” Abortions
10.09.21
Ahead of last weekend’s Women’s March in Washington, D.C., marchers were offered a reminder of what to bring and what not to bring. On the “to bring” list was “Your feminist spirit, bring your defiance to injustice bring your demands for abortion justice.” The “don’t bring” list included weapons and illegal substances, as well as a note reminding abortion activists not to use “coat-hanger imagery” saying, “We do not want to accidentally reinforce the right wing talking points that self-managed abortions are dangerous, scary and harmful.”

Illinois state lawmakers are scheduled to return to Springfield for the annual Veto Session this month, and we know that abortion cheerleaders continue to push their sinister agenda to make Illinois the most pro-abortion state in the nation. In response...
Radical Pro-Abortion Bill in Washington D.C.
By David E. Smith   |   09.30.21
Last Friday, by a vote of 218 to 211, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a radical pro-abortion bill that would essentially codify Roe v. Wade. The so-called "Women’s Health Protection Act of 2021" (H.R. 3755) would create an absolute right to abortion in federal law, superseding all state laws. The vote fell along party lines, with only one Democrat—U.S. Representatives Henry Cuellar (D-TX)—voting against the bill.

For those who have been enjoying the waning days of summer away from news and social media, basking maskless by a refreshing body of water or hiking in a cool forest with a face as naked as a newborn babe’s,...
An Open Letter to Women Say ‘My Body, My Choice’
By Dr. Michael L. Brown   |   09.04.21
If you are a woman who believes that it is your moral right to have an abortion, you are likely quite angry or frightened over the enactment of the Texas Heartbeat Bill. All the more is the case if you live in Texas. And you likely think that people like me, conservative, male, pro-life Christians who are glad to see the bill enacted, are heartless, controlling, misogynistic monsters.

By Laurie Higgins   |   06.30.21
In a 2020 interview with The Guardian, Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks revealed her over-inflated sense of the importance of Fleetwood Mac in her rationalization of the decision to end the life of her unborn child: If I had not...
IFI Joins Friends of the Court in Rutledge v. Little Rock Family Planning Services
By James M. Odom   |   06.14.21
On January 22, 1973, U.S. Supreme Court Justices William Rehnquist and Bryon White rightly identified in their dissents that Roe v. Wade was a bad (to put it mildly) decision:

“The decision here ... partakes more of judicial legislation than it does of a determination of the intent of the drafters of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

By Laurie Higgins   |   06.08.21
Paxton Smith, a card-carrying member of the Cult of Self, just revealed her narcissistic bona fides in her valedictory diatribe advocating for human slaughter at Lake Highlands High School in Richardson, Texas. She dumped her pre-approved speech and replaced it...
Counter Planned Parenthood’s Push to Repeal the Parental Notice of Abortion Act!
By David E. Smith   |   05.30.21
With just hours to go in the 2021 Spring legislative session, pro-abortion radicals are ramping up the pressure in an attempt to repeal our Parental Notice of Abortion Act. On Friday afternoon they sent an urgent message to their subscribers. Ironically, on that same day, the Chicago Tribune reported a 10 percent increase of abortions in Illinois, saying that while "the majority of these women resided in Illinois, more than 7,500 women came from other states to have an abortion in Illinois in 2019..."

By Christine Misner   |   05.17.21
In a May 12 appearance before the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee, Xavier Becerra, Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), repeatedly denied U.S. law banned partial birth abortions. The problem? U.S. law does ban partial birth abortions and Becerra himself even voted against the law.
Manipulative Polling Language For Abortion Agenda
By Calvin Lindstrom   |   05.13.21
In early March 2021, IFI and other groups commissioned a poll of Illinois voters using the Tarrance Group. At the end of April, Personal PAC, a group that has no qualms about killing babies in the womb for any reason, also sponsored a poll using Public Policy Polling. For clarity and brevity, I have named these two polls the IFI poll and the PP poll.
State Lawmakers to Remove Basic Protection for Patients
By Chris Iverson   |   05.03.21
Illinois State Senators Sara Feigenholtz (D-Chicago) and Robert Martwick (D-Chicago) are sponsoring a bill (SB 109) that will change the "Practitioner's Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment" (POLST) form by removing the requirement that a witness sign the form. Since the POLST form states the patient's wishes regarding life-sustaining treatment, having a witness to the signature of this form reduces the chances that a patient is manipulated into literally signing their life away.
