Abortion is the leading cause of death in the United States.
Live Action reported that for the year 2023, a total of 1,037,000 abortions were committed. Said another way, 1,037,000 children were murdered.
When these numbers are fully broken down, 2,841 abortions were committed every day; 118 every hour; two every minute; and one every 30 seconds.
The culture of death is alive and well in the United States.
40 Days for Life, an organization dedicated to ending abortion, has a vital, timely vision for further hindering Planned Parenthood’s efforts.
Shawn Carney, the CEO of 40 Days for Life, was recently invited onto Governor Mike Huckabee’s show to discuss how to make the pro-life case in an ever increasingly pro-abortion world:

A key component of Planned Parenthood’s resources and efforts was found in its official 2022-2023 financial report.
In that report, Planned Parenthood revealed that roughly a third of its revenue, 34%, comes from government healthcare service reimbursements and federal grants.
More specifically, for the fiscal year of 2022-2023, $669.3 million in revenue for Planned Parenthood came directly from the United States government– which is ultimately from you, the hardworking taxpayer.
In keeping with the mission of 40 Days for Life to end abortion in the United States and cripple Planned Parenthood as the abortion empire, they organized a timely effort called Defund Planned Parenthood.
Defund Planned Parenthood is an effort to do exactly that– stop the government from utilizing taxpayer dollars to fund the slaughter of children.
Defund Planned Parenthood is calling on Congress and the White House to immediately cease all tax-payer funding of the biggest abortion chain in America – Planned Parenthood.
