As you know, our state lawmakers in the General Assembly passed SB 1564 in an effort to expand abortion services in Illinois. This legislation would force medical professionals and many pregnancy care workers to violate their conscience by forcing them to refer patients for medical procedures they find morally objectionable such as abortion, sterilization and certain end-of-life care. SB 1564 will soon make it to Governor Bruce Rauner‘s desk — and we need your help to encourage him to veto this ominous proposal. Simply put, no American should be forced by its government to violate their deeply held convictions.
