- This event has passed.
For decades now, there has been an overt attempt to emasculate men. Academia, media and pop culture is working overtime to redefine everything… including manhood itself.
The book of Genesis repeatedly tells us that God made man in His image, creating us male and female. In the Gospel of Matthew, we see that Jesus repeats that teaching, criticizing the political and religious leaders of the day for their stubbornness in understanding the simple but profound meaning of that passage.
Male and female are made in the image of God and when they unite in marriage, they better represent God’s character which spans the full spectrum of masculine and feminine qualities. Unfortunately, our culture, along with the majority of Christian leaders, has rejected biblical masculinity in favor of an effeminate Christianity. Manhood has been redefined to fit the times.
We must refuse to be timid milksops and instead joyfully shoulder the roles of husband, father, elder, and deacon, as well as cultural and political warriors doing battle with the enemy of God, Lucifer — the father of lies. God calls men for a specific purpose — and we must respond, unafraid and willing to live faithfully in the time and for the tasks that God has given us. We must take up our positions on the front lines of the cosmic battle between good and evil. Dr. Scott Lively, in an article written 20 years ago entitled “Masculine Christianity” points out:
Masculine Christianity fights to champion what is right and to defeat evil. It is the applied force for good against which the gates of hell cannot prevail. It is an embodiment of the spirit of conquest in which the Great Commission was given. It is the unyielding determination to prevail against all odds and at any cost to achieve a righteous goal — even unto death on a cross. Masculine Christianity is the engine of revival: prophetic, expansionist, uncompromising.
Through this conference, we hope you will come away equipped to recognize and expose the lies being sold to us, our children, and our grandchildren. It is our prayer that attendees will rediscover God’s vision for biblical manhood. It is time to live a bold, courageous life for the glory of the Lord.
Our state and nation needs a bold movement of Christian men to rise up and be the men God wants to use to advance His kingdom and to slay the dragons in the land. We believe it is possible because He who has called us is faithful.
