Pro-life citizens across America will line local sidewalks to seek God’s forgiveness and intervention, while holding signs that read Abortion Kills Children; Adoption: The Loving Option; Abortion Hurts Women; and Jesus Forgives and Heals.

Life Chain is a peaceful witness against a violent public enemy that has killed millions of preborn Americans at surgical abortion clinics and through abortifacient birth controls.

LIFE CHAIN invites churches in each city and town across North America to stand on a designated local sidewalk and pray for one hour, while holding pro-life signs. Click HERE for locations in Illinois.

The event is devoted to repentance, peaceful public witness, and ultimately to ending legalized abortion.

Accordingly, LIFE CHAIN is not chiefly a demonstration, and its witness is not intended for the viewing public only. Instead, its first goal is to minister to its own participants-to those who call Christ their Lord and hold pro-life messages that declare abortion a grave evil that defames the name and holiness of God (Leviticus 18:21).

It is purposeful to note that LIFE CHAIN is church oriented and pastor focused and that the key to a successful Chain is for local pastors to educate their congregations about abortion and then lead them to the sidewalk where their Chain is to be held. Without firm pastoral support, Life Chain will not fulfill its potential for saving lives and changing hearts.

  • Stand with thousands of pro-lifers throughout the USA and Canada!
You’ll be a light in a darkened world as you help put an end to abortion through prayer!

  • Bring your whole family!
  • Water, lawn chairs, umbrellas and strollers are welcome and encouraged!
  • Rain or shine!
  • Signs proclaim “Abortion Kills Children,” “Adoption – the Loving Option,” “Jesus Forgives & Heals,” “Lord, Forgive Us and Our Nation,” “Abortion Hurts Women,” “El Aborto Mata Ninos,” “Life – the first Inalienable Right” and “Pray to End Abortion.”
  • Donations are accepted to cover the costs of the local Life Chain. All proceeds after expenses are given to the area crisis pregnancy centers.

As you stand for the unborn, please space yourselves 25 to 30 feet apart along the route.  Do not park in front of any open business.  Always be courteous.
