The inaugural meeting of the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the U.S. Department of Justice, was led by Attorney General Pam Bondi. Established by President Trump’s Executive Order 14202 on February 6, 2025, the task force aims to identify and eliminate anti-Christian policies and practices within federal agencies.
The vast majority of Americans agree: citizens of this great nation should be free to exercise their faith without government intrusion in school, in the military, in the workplace, and in the public square.
This closed meeting included several Cabinet members, such as FBI Director Kash Patel, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Peter Hegseth, and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., along with witnesses who shared allegations of anti-Christian bias under the Biden administration.
Key points discussed included:
- IRS Actions: A representative from Cornerstone Church highlighted an IRS investigation into alleged Johnson Amendment violations, targeting the church for political endorsements.
- Educational Institutions: Liberty University’s provost discussed fines imposed on Christian universities, attributed to their religious worldview.
- FBI Memo: Director Patel addressed a retracted FBI memo targeting “radical-traditionalist” Catholics, emphasizing efforts to eliminate bias in investigations.
- State Department: Secretary Rubio raised concerns about a Christian Foreign Service Officer facing child abuse allegations for homeschooling and bias against employees opposing COVID-19 vaccine mandates or DEI policies.
- Education Policies: Secretary Linda McMahon criticized radical gender ideology in schools, including cases of social transitioning without parental consent.
- Financial Surveillance: Deputy Treasury Secretary Michael Faulkender discussed the IRS removing tax classifications from Christian and pro-life groups and FinCEN labeling pro-Christian groups as “hate groups.”
- Veterans Affairs: Secretary Doug Collins addressed a speech code punishing a chaplain for preaching biblically based sermons.
- Justice Department: Attorney General Bondi emphasized ending abuses, such as prosecutions of pro-life Christians, while alleging neglect of anti-Christian violence.
The task force aims to review federal agencies, recommend policy changes, and submit reports to the President within 120 days, one year, and upon its dissolution in two years unless extended. The welcoming remarks of the task force were publicly posted in this seven minute video:
