Self-loathing is a peculiar and tragic phenomenon.

The Bible states that “no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it,” (Ephesians 5:29), so there is something particularly ugly about radical feminists fomenting self-hatred in young women.

The Bible is correct.

We do love ourselves, but a conflict arises when we see things in ourselves that we don’t like, even though those things may be phantoms of Leftists’ corrupted imaginations. It is difficult enough when you see your own actual failures. But that discomfort is compounded when screeching voices denigrate your gender and malign behavior that is inherent and natural to who you are.

That which has been throughout history a woman’s cherished birth right, the incredible privilege of bearing, caring for, and loving children is now loathed by the radicals. In a bizarre twist of reality, modern feminists are transparent in their hatred of virtually all things female, and they have declared war against women in general.

It is tragic beyond words as we witness women, especially young women, self-destruct before our eyes.

The damage done to America’s young women by feminism is eerily similar to that inflicted on them by beastly men.

I have seen before and after photos of beautiful young women who were indoctrinated by these feminists, and they are clearly suffering from emotional trauma. They puncture themselves, shave their heads, cutting off the beautiful hair God gave them, or dye it some awful shade of purple or black.

They mutilate themselves and deny who they are as women.

I wonder whether the predators inflict more pain on women than that inflicted by these radicals? What normal thinking person would do such harm to themselves unless they saw themselves as unattractive or guilty of some major offense?

The CDC reports that there is a “crisis” among American teenaged girls with 30 percent stating they have seriously contemplated suicide and 60 percent complaining of emotional stress. These statistics are up 60 percent over the last decade.

And to top it off, feminism has convinced many that women amount to nothing unless they become men or behave like men! This, of course, they cannot do. How hopeless many of them must feel!

There are small-minded men who hate women for whatever reason. From their numbers come those who inflict the injury and fear that so many women must deal with. These men often put on a façade of normality until they are in a position where they may harm woman, but they ought to be understood for what they are. They are monsters, and they in no way represent the manliness that God intended in creation.

Biblical manliness is in no way a threat to women, but rather a protection.

God created men and women with different abilities and giftedness, and we ought to celebrate those differences. Yes, diversity is God’s design!  Complementarianism is a beautiful thing! But when feminists demand that women reject their femininity and act like men, they are destroying diversity.

To seek to turn a woman into a man is not celebrating diversity but is rather quashing it. And to rob young women of that most significant difference, their ability to bring a new life into the world, and to replace it with such mundane and common things as a nine-to-five job, is despicable!

Anyone can make or sell stuff! Only women can produce a new human being! Don’t be fooled.

By the way, if one cares for truth, who has declared that what men have traditionally done is more important than what women do? You got it: small-minded men! However, one human being is infinitely more valuable than all the jobs in the world; yet such men, and now radical feminists, would have us believe that selling trinkets at the corner store is more important than bringing a new life into the world.

Don’t you believe it!

When I studied architecture, there were, on occasion, comics and jokes posted on the bulletin board poking fun at the engineering department; and I suppose if I had visited the engineering building, I might have seen jokes directed at the architectural department. It was all in good fun, and I am quite sure that each group understood that both disciplines were needed.

Buildings constructed without esthetics would be drab, and dehumanizing, but buildings constructed without engineering might collapse. Each discipline needed the other, and to force them to “become the other” would have been foolish. Generally speaking, architects make poor engineers, and engineers make poor architects.

It is the same with men and women.

We each shine in our own giftedness, but men make poor imitation women and women make poor imitation men.

It is that simple.

There was a time when fathers took the responsibility of protecting their daughters and wives seriously. But no one has done more to harass fathers out of that role, thus leaving girls and women more vulnerable, than contemporary feminists.

It may be anecdotal, but I am quite confident that the average young man hears more about how young women do not need his protection than they do how evil it is to abuse them. The impression one might get is that a protective male is worse than a rapist.

How often have I heard a young woman angrily say, “I am fully able to take care of myself!”

Well, juxtapose that sentiment against the high numbers of women abused and killed by wicked men! Honesty is long overdue. So long as there are “wolves” there will be a need for protective fathers, husbands, and brothers.

The “Me Too” movement, with all its flaws, has provided some push back, as women have been more willing to admit the fact of their vulnerability to the “wolves” roaming the streets; but few are willing to publicly acknowledge the connection.

Women are more likely to be victims when strong, good men are absent.

Many radical feminists also appear to have no problem with the trans movement. We are told that “trans-women” (men calling themselves women) competing against women will not make any significant difference in top level women’s sports. But this has already been overwhelmingly proven false.

In virtually any high-level sport, there are hundreds, if not thousands of men who could defeat the best women. In tennis, for example. It is reported that even male high school players can defeat the women’s world champions. To date there has been a telling silence from the radical feminists regarding the defeat of women by these trans-athletes.

When enough men, who cannot compete with the best male athletes, have crossed over from men’s leagues to dominate women’s leagues, and have eliminated the best women, will the silence continue?

Why do feminists refuse to defend women in such an obvious example of discrimination, unless they do, in fact, despise women?

What is to be done to help the millions of young people infected and afflicted by this radical agenda? Since we do not believe in censorship, we must seek to deliver the truth to them using whatever means are at our disposal. The radicals presently have a choke hold on the public universities, Media, and the entertainment industry, but we have the power of God and His Word!

Thus, we have the power inherent in truth, and we must be bold with it! If hundreds of thousands of young Americans have over the centuries been willing to die for the good of their fellow Americans, then we ought to be willing to live for their good.

Let us be unflinching and unwavering in proclaiming the truth of the beauty and order of God’s creation, and the necessity of submitting to Him.

Most of all, we must proclaim the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sin is our problem and the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, is God’s solution!
