Every single civilization that abandoned sexual restraint ended up collapsing within three generations.
Jesus’ warning in Mark 3:25 proves to be true:
“If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”
Or, in this case, if a culture has abandoned basic human ethics, that culture cannot survive for long.

The same hope that any failed civilization had: repentance.
2 Chronicles 7:14 records a beautiful promise to God’s people of Israel, and yet his promise of healing is for all who come to Him in repentance, even today.
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
The culture war that America is facing is not new. As the book of Ecclesiastes famously records, “there is nothing new under the sun.” Child sacrifice, greed, over-indulgence, sexual immortality, addiction, and more have plagued our sinful race since the time of Adam and Eve’s first sin. In other words, disobedience and rebellion against God is continuing and escalating.
The only hope that America has is repentance and healing that can only come from Jesus.
