Do you know any genuine Christians looking to find a spouse? Are you one yourself?
Many are in the same boat.
Just about half of the U.S. population has never been married, and it is estimated that about 37 million American Christians share that single status. Dating apps are not cutting it, with many among my own circles saying it is like searching for a needle in a haystack if you are looking for marriage.
So what is the solution?
Rebecca Leland is a Christian who sees this need in the body of Christ, and is responding to what God has laid on her heart. Her passion has been to gather solid, Christian singles and bring them together to meet, fellowship, and find a potential God-fearing spouse in an undemanding, low stakes, enjoyable environment.
Leland has cleverly titled these gatherings “Unsingling.”
Unsingling – a night of fun, encouragement and connection—Christ-centered and intentional.
Unsingling brings Chicagoland Christian singles together who are pursuing marriage in a world working to dismantle it.

Abby’s Testimony:
“I heard about unsingling through facebook posts and thought it would be a great in-person event to meet people, even if it didn’t lead to a date right away. I was unsure what it would be like because I have never done anything like that and I don’t like to be on the spot but it was really fun and helped me get out there and meet people. I met some great people and my now boyfriend that I met there was the best thing that happened to me. Two guys asked me for my number, but I turned one guy away because I knew the other one was the one I wanted to be with (my now bf of 6+ months). I know it can be a scary thing going to an event that is specific to singles finding someone, but honestly it’s a great way to meet someone in person without you wondering if that person is single or not and if you should ask them for their number…because EVERYONE THERE IS SINGLE. It really takes the guess work out of it and helps you meet someone that is intentional with finding a spouse.”
