For many it feels like the faith is under assault by what seems like a progressively pagan culture? Christians were called to be ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-21) in an adversarial culture. Over the first 300 years of the church, their ambassadorship transformed culture into what we know of as Western civilization. The church trained, educated, and equipped believers to engage culture outside the gathering of believers. Over the past 200 years, unbelievers are returning the favor and many Christians do not know how to respond.
