Divided? Or Not So Much?
By Thomas Hampson   |   06.29.24
Regardless of their claimed party affiliation, average Americans are more unified in their opinions than it might appear. It doesn’t seem that way when we watch the news or read the paper, and sometimes even when we discuss issues one-on-one. An outside observer might even think we are hopelessly divided.

The Crisis That Isn’t, Part 2
By Ecce Verum   |   06.05.24
Man has stewardship over the earth. As we established last time, this is a momentous claim. If you're neglecting a proper degree of dominion over the earth, then you are messing up one of the first commands God ever gave our species.
The Crisis That Isn’t, Part 1

Several years ago, I made a trip to a popular museum in the Seattle area and toured the various exhibits on display. An exhibit that particularly caught my eye was a kind of vertical conveyor belt on which visitors could post little notes which others could then scroll through and examine. Visitors were instructed to write down their opinion of what the biggest problem in the world was.
Protecting Child Sacrifice and Mandating Indoctrination
By David E. Smith   |   05.23.24
We knew the last week of the scheduled session of the Illinois General Assembly would be rough for pro-family conservatives, and we are sorry to report that two terrible bills are now on their way to Governor JB Pritzker's desk, where he is sure to sign them into law.

Mandated Indoctrination on Climate Change?
By David E. Smith   |   04.03.24
Last year I was at lunch with an evangelist. After the meal, he handed our waitress a Gospel tract. I wanted to reinforce his compassion, so I told the young lady that her relationship with God was the most important thing in the world. She responded, “Yeah, that and global warming!” She proceeded to tell us that she wakes up in fear of what may happen to the earth during her lifetime. I was shocked.
Electric Power vs. Green Goals
By Steve Goreham, MS/EE, MBA   |   03.12.24
“The green movement calls for a shutdown of coal and gas power plants. New Studies Undercut Key Climate Change Claims
By Alex Newman   |   03.04.24
‘Climate activism has become the new religion of the 21st century—heretics are not welcome and not allowed to ask questions,’ said astrophysicist Willie Soon.

Temperature records used by climate scientists and governments to build models that then forecast dangerous manmade global warming repercussions have serious problems and even corruption in the data, multiple scientists who have published recent studies on the issue...
The Next Big Climate Scare: Counting Climate Change Deaths
By Steve Goreham, MS/EE, MBA   |   02.15.24
Advocates of measures to control the climate now propose that we begin counting deaths from climate change. They appear to believe that if people see a daily announcement of climate deaths, they will be more inclined to accept climate change policies. But it’s not even clear that the current gentle rise in global temperatures is causing more people to die.
Era of ‘Unquestioned and Unchallenged’ Climate Change Claims Is Over

New studies undercut the ‘scientifically empty’ warming narrative, says astrophysicist and aerospace engineer.
One Simple Energy Question Devastates ‘Net-Zero’ Pipe Dreams
By Steve Goreham, MS/EE, MBA   |   08.15.23
Which is more environmentally friendly — an energy source that uses one unit of land to produce one unit of electricity, or a source that uses 100 units of land to produce one unit of electricity?

The answer should be obvious.
