Legislative Update for the Week of March 31, 2025
The Illinois Senate will be back in Springfield on Tuesday, April 1st. But the Illinois House will not be back until April 7th. All this week state representatives will be in their district offices so it is a good time to gather a few like-minded friends and schedule a visit with them. They need to hear from us!

A Return of the Levee District?
Progressive Democrats Will Guzzardi, Kelly Cassidy, and Theresa Mah introduced House Bill 3518 on February 7, 2025. The 168-page bill, titled “Keeping Sex Workers Safe Act,” would legalize prostitution in this state, returning us to the late 19th and early 20th century standards. What would that look like?
