It’s been disturbing to observe how many people tend to believe anything, even ideas so rooted in darkness, they shouldn’t deserve a second glance. And yet, without a worldview rooted in the Source of all Truth, people are blown in every direction because they have no solid foundation.

Covid changed a lot and not for the better.

• A world-wide lockdown from a virus we now know was made in a lab under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is now invoking the fifth.
• Then an experimental vaccine that the government said was safe but had to force on people in the name of “science.”
• We all remember the insane mask mandates, which one medical professional stated that the boxes explicitly said they did not protect against Covid.
• And the 6-foot rule that was based on nothing scientific whatsoever.

Yet many were forced to participate under threat of negative peer pressure and losing one’s livelihood, let alone the loss of life. Those who disagreed were labeled conspiracy theorists.

Before Covid, conspiracy theories were largely laughed at. Alex Jones was seen as a crazy fanatical character in his assertions that the water was turning male frogs into egg-producing females (which actually turned out to be true believe it or not).

Few paid attention to the crazy conspiracies. Being labeled a conspiracy theorist was a derogatory label.

But once Covid happened, everything seemed to shift.

No one could have anticipated the damaging effects of what one world-wide conspiracy theory being true would lead to.

On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was brutally assassinated by a radical young man. In the aftermath of his assassination, grief and solidarity with the family quickly turned to accusations and unfounded conspiracy theories lead largely by the one and only Candace Owens on her much listened to podcast.

Instead of actually seeking truth, Candace Owens has been blatant in her disregard of all evidence and her insistence that her theories are true. And many have been swayed to believe them. Her conspiracy theories have taken form from Egyptian planes being responsible, to Israel, to exploding microphones, to Erika Kirk herself, Mikey McCoy, and TPUSA in general (among others).

Now in recent weeks, another appalling incident has exposed the damaging effects of being without a solid foundation. A case that’s rooted even deeper in darkness.

Lindsay Clancy, a mother to three and a wife who was diagnosed with a mood disorder (not postpartum psychosis or PPD), waited for her husband to go to work one day. After he left, she brought her three children down to the basement – a five-year-old, a toddler, and an eight-month-old baby.

One by one, Lindsey Clancy methodically and purposefully strangled each one of her children to death.

It has been noted that strangling a toddler takes anywhere from 5 to 7 minutes. It’s not an easy task. And yet she had the wherewithal and the soundness of mind to go through her children one by one.

Meaning, one of her children had to watch their two other siblings being horrifically strangled to death before it was their turn.

One would think that the outrage against a mother doing this to her own children, no matter her mental state, would be overwhelmingly high. Yet, in the after math of the case, across social media there was mass support for Lindsay Clancy.

Mothers are shouting, “Me to Lindsay Clancy,” and “We are all Lindsay Clancy,” and “Lindsay Clancy didn’t do it. It was her husband.” Candace Owens has also asserted that Lindsay Clancy is innocent. This is from the deepest pits of hell.

It doesn’t matter that Lindsay Clancy herself confessed to the crime or that her lawyers have in no way tried to assert that anyone else is responsible for the crime, or that all of the evidence corroborates her confession. The deranged mommy sleuths of TikTok have decided in their court of “justice” that Lindsay Clancy is innocent while the evidence is clear that she is not.

And so, in the court of law that is social media, true justice is perverted and children are seen as throw-away commodities and not as true victims.

The solidarity videos that I have seen across social media have brought me to tears. Women are breaking things in their home, throwing ice cubes in their bathtubs while screaming, throwing cold water onto their babies – all in the name of “Me too, Lindsay.”

It’s deeply disturbing. If I was a family member to one of these women, I would do everything in my power to ensure the safety and well-being of their children on a daily basis.

These women are not mothers. They might have children that biologically belong to them. But they are not mothers. Mothers protect, nurture, love, and shield their children.

They don’t set up tripods, scream, throw cold water on their babies, edit the video, and post it to TikTok for views.

In 2 Timothy 3:1-7, the Apostle Paul lists attributes of people in the last days. One of these attributes is the loss of “natural affection.” I couldn’t describe what I’ve seen on social media the past week any different. These “mothers” have lost the natural affection for their children in favor of selfishness, greed, arrogance, and being “lovers of their own selves.”

Romans 1 might describe it better. Without a worldview rooted in God’s source of Truth, His Word, they have developed a depraved mind, doing the unthinkable.

And yet this is just another symptom of the death culture that we’ve been fighting for decades. As soon as you say that it is justified and “right” for a mother to murder her child in the womb because of financial or mental distress or just self-interest, what’s to say that it’s not justified for her to murder her children outside the womb for the same reasons?

It doesn’t help that the Covid conspiracy has led a good number to believe that everything is a conspiracy. Truth is not truth. Evidence is not evidence. Nothing is factual. Everything is a cover-up to the real story, according to the deranged women of TikTok.

This epidemic of online pseudo-justice is demonic.

As Christians, we are called to be of sober mind, wise, innocent, discerning.

We must be discerning in who we listen to and what information we allow into our hearts. Jesus warns us that it’s easy to be deceived by false teachings, misleading ideologies, and the deceptive influences of the world. The antidote is daily reading of God’s Word and being in communication with Him through prayer.

God is grieved when justice is perverted, when slander and gossip reign, and when Christians bask themselves in lies. I can confidently say that God is horrified by what’s happening in our social media immersed culture and the lack of care for the children whose lives He has placed in our care.

If you are a Christian who’s spending more time on TikTok than in God’s source for Truth – the Bible, I urge you to repent. Get off of social media. Maybe even delete it for good.

Your soul is more important than your TikTok account.

Take a walk, play with your kids, listen to a sermon, play worship music in your house. Fill your mind with things that are right, lovely, true and of good report. (Philippians 4).

Let these words from Ephesians 5 reign in your hearts today:

“Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” (vv. 6-11)
