From Passover to Pentecost (April 5- May 24), Prayer at the Heart is launching a bold initiative.
Endorsed by Dr. Franklin Graham and Dr. Ronnie Floyd, Project 2026 is a national prayer and evangelical project with the express goal of “one million Christians praying for one million friends to know Christ.”
This project transcends denomination, age, location, and cultural background.
“This is about our shared faith in Jesus, activating everyday believers and churches everywhere.
One simple act of obedience, multiplied across the nation.
This is how awakenings start.”
For decades, Christians have been praying for revival across our nation. Often, when we think of our country’s need for revival, we think of “those people out there.”
But, what if revival starts with us?
Obedience to God’s Word, boldness to proclaim the Gospel, and petitioning our God in prayer is where spiritual change starts to happen.
Our God is patient with us, not wanting any to perish. (2 Peter 3:9) In knowing this is His will, we can have confidence that He will answer our prayers and pursue those whose names are not yet written in His Book of Life. (1 John 5:14-15)
Prayer at the Heart’s method and mission are different than other prayer initiatives.
“Most national efforts try to change America from the top down. Prayer at the Heart starts from the ground up.”
Prayer is powerful. James declares in James 5:16,
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
Let’s use this powerful gift from God and see what He will do!
