A recent study by Lifeway Research revealed that 70% of American women who have had abortions identify themselves as Christian.
What does this mean for you and your church? How many women sitting in your pews, joining your small groups, or serving on your hospitality team fall into that statistic?
And what about the men, the fathers of these aborted children? The weight they carry is crushing, and they have been largely ignored. The guilt, shame, and pain has not been validated or addressed.
These are the abortion-wounded. And I was one of them.
But thanks to the grace of God and the healing power of the blood of Jesus, I now walk in freedom from guilt, shame and grief that once held me captive.
At this important workshop Deeper Still Chicago and Southside Pregnancy Center seeks to equip and empower pastors and church leaders to help bring freedom to others like me. The abortion-wounded are hiding in plain sight within our churches.
