Can the Church and Social Justice Co-Exist?
April 25 @ 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Illinois Family Institute, the Christian Emergency League and New Hope Community Church will host another Town Hall Event to include local pastors and faith leaders discussing the following:

  • Immigration through a Biblical Worldview
  • History of Social Justice and Education
  • From Homosexual to Holy
  • The Church in Culture: Ministry and Mission

Come and join the town hall discussion of issues impacting the church and every area of society.

How should you, your church and community leaders respond to these hot button issues in culture – particularly from a Biblical, Judeo-Christion Worldview?

Who’s Speaking:

  • Pastor Daniel Matos: Pastor of Agape Christian Church in the Austin Neighborhood of Chicago, he is the Midwest Regional Director for the National Hispanic Christian leadership Conference, the largest association of Latino evangelical churches in the U.S.
  • Pastor Calvin Lindstrom: Pastor and Administrator at the Church of Christian Liberty and Christian Liberty Academy, in Arlington Heights. He has a Masters of Divinity from Whitefield Theological Seminary and a MS in Engineering. He is also Chairman of the Board for Liberia Renewal Ministries USA, and he oversees Christian Liberty Press, contributing to Christian education through publishing.
  • Juan-Elias Riesco: Love Life Chicago City Director. Saved by grace and set free from homosexuality, he now leads efforts to unite and mobilize the local church in prayer and evangelism against abortion.
  • Don Veniot: President and Co-founder of Midwest Christian Outreach, Inc., a national apologetics ministry focused on new religious movements.

We hope you will join us for this time of honest conversation, reasoned discussion and most of all, biblically rooted, Truth-guided, life changing reflection.

There will be time for Q&A and refreshments will be provided.

Bring friends and neighbors to this important and timely event!
