Government Must Support and Encourage Free Exercise of Religion, or Fail
11.11.20
Illinois Family Institute has joined a friend of the court ("amicus") brief supporting Catholic Social Services in Fulton v. City of Philadelphia, which was just argued before the U.S. Supreme Court.

At the federal level, the courts generally enforce this amendment by requiring 1) a compelling government interest, and 2) the least restrictive means narrowly tailored to actually achieve that interest (called the strict scrutiny test), before allowing a government to infringe Constitutional rights.
How Trump’s 1776 Commission Can End America’s Zombie Education Apocalypse
11.10.20
The 1776 Commission and the executive order signed by the president of the United States are the last things being discussed right now, and understandably so.  However, the 1776 Commission is more than what meets the eye.  The executive order is committed to restoring an education about the founding of our nation to the frontline of the information war: our nation's schools.
Aborted Babies in COVID Vaccines?
11.09.20
With the number of deaths in the U.S. officially attributed to COVID-19 (defined by the CDC as anyone who died with COVID-19, though not necessarily because of it) now around 230,000 and a surge in the number of COVID-19 cases throughout the U.S. over the past few weeks, a growing sense of urgency has been created for a COVID-19 vaccine. Often mentioned is a proposal by Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of University of California Berkeley’s Law School. He favors increasing the size of the court to 13 instead of its current nine. There are other calls for a larger court, such as those produced by organizations like “Take Back the Court” and “Demand Justice.”
Let the Earth Rejoice
By Jonathan Lewis   |   11.05.20
Regardless of the outcome of our national election for POTUS, there are going to be some Americans who are elated, some who are in despair, and some who are just glad it’s all over. God’s Word, Politics, and Discernment
11.02.20
Present-day political races are not about being a Democrat or a Republican.  It’s not about left or right.  It’s not about conservative or liberal.  And it’s not about being racist or not racist.

It’s about good or evil.  It’s about what is right or what is wrong.  It’s about what lines up most closely to the Word of God or what in greatest measure goes against the Word of God.
