Buckle up – I’ve got some hot-off-the-press statistics that will make you smile or at least give you a flicker of hope in this crazy world. The latest Gallup poll just dropped, and for once, it’s not another gut-punch to biblical values.

Here’s the deal: Conservative support for same-sex marriage is tanking. Back in 2021 and 2022, 55% of Republicans were on board with it – a record high that had me shaking my head. But now? That number’s plummeted to 41%, the lowest since the U.S. Supreme Court’s Obergefell v. Hodges decision in 2015 that flipped the script on marriage. A 14% drop! And it gets better: Only 38% of Republicans – lowest since 2012 – say same-sex relations are morally acceptable.

Now, let’s talk church folks. Two-thirds of regular church-goers say “no way” to same-sex marriage, and 76% of them hold the line that same-sex relations aren’t morally OK. That’s the majority of professing Christians still clinging to what Scripture says about marriage. Now, I’m going to be real with you: Those numbers should be 100%. Every pastor worth his salt ought to be preaching Genesis 2 like it’s the only truth that matters – because it is. No politics needed, just God’s word. But I’ll save that soapbox for another day.

So what’s going on here? It’s simple: Conservatives are waking up. They’re shaking off the fog and returning to God’s design for marriage – one man, one woman, for life. And honestly, it’s not that shocking. The past decade has been a slow-motion train wreck, pulling back the curtain on the real agenda behind same-sex marriage. Spoiler alert: it was never about “love is love” or “equal rights.” That was just the shiny packaging to sell us a lie.

The truth? It’s about torching the nuclear family, sexualizing kids, and green-lighting every kind of depravity you can imagine. Don’t believe me? Look at our schools. Public libraries are stocked with LGBTQ+ propaganda, classrooms are pushing “gender identity” on kids who can barely tie their shoes, and don’t get me started on “Drag Queen Story Hour.”

Grown men in glitter and fishnets reading to toddlers on taxpayer dollars. Y’all, that’s not progress; that’s predation. And it’s not just in the library books. Schools are telling kids to question their God-given bodies, planting seeds of confusion about whether they’re “really” a boy or a girl.

Since Obergefell, we’ve seen parents lose custody of their own children because they wouldn’t let the state mutilate their kids’ bodies in the name of “gender-affirming care.” Let that sink in. Ten years ago, we were told same-sex marriage was just about two people loving each other. Now, we’ve got kids being groomed into ideologies that destroy their innocence and their bodies. This isn’t what they sold us, folks.

These poll numbers show Republicans are finally seeing through the smoke and mirrors. They’re realizing this sexual revolution was a bait-and-switch. Meanwhile, Democrats? Their support for same-sex marriage and relations is higher than ever. Why? Because this chaos was their endgame all along. While conservatives are reeling from their worst fears coming true, liberals are popping champagne, dreaming of the next boundary to bulldoze.

But here’s where I get hopeful. These numbers aren’t just stats – they’re a sign that the tide might be turning. I’m praying this is the start of something bigger. Gen Z Christians are stepping up, bold and unapologetic. Voices like Rosaria Butterfield, Katy Faust, Nancy Pearcey, and – dare I say it – yours truly with “Relatable,” along with you, my amazing audience, are pushing back. You’re not just sitting on the sidelines; you’re in the fight, shining a light on truth.

Here’s the bottom line, and I need you to hear this: No matter what the polls say, no matter what laws get passed, same-sex marriage isn’t real. Not in God’s eyes. He’s the one who defines marriage – not SCOTUS, not Congress, not culture. He laid it out crystal clear in Genesis with Adam and Eve, and that’s the standard forever. So when the world’s screaming at us to bow to the rainbow flag, we stand firm on the unshakable truth of God’s word. That’s our anchor, y’all. Let’s hold fast and keep fighting the good fight.
