In this second session on Islam, Pastor Paul Blair emphasizes why Christians must better understand Islam — not only as a theology but as a long-term geopolitical movement. While America’s attention has shifted to other cultural battles, Islamic expansion has continued quietly across the West.

Different Worldviews & Strategies
Pastor Paul contrasts Western “microwave” thinking — wanting quick results — with Islam’s centuries-long patience in achieving global dominance under Sharia. Islam spreads by establishing communities that resist assimilation, creating Islamic-ruled enclaves (“no-go zones”) as seen in places like Dearborn, France, and the UK.
Islam Is Not Worshiping the God of the Bible
Pastor Paul is explicit: Allah is not the God of Scripture — even calling Allah “Satan” — because:
- Islam rejects Jesus as the divine Son of God
- Islam denies Christ’s atoning death and resurrection
- The Quran contradicts both Old and New Testaments
- The Quran contains serious historical and theological errors
From the Bible’s view, the Quran preaches another gospel and another Jesus — directly condemned in Galatians 1.
Christianity & Islam Teach Two Opposing Gospels
| Biblical Christianity | Islam |
|---|---|
| Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus | Salvation by works & jihad |
| Jesus is God in the flesh | Jesus is only a prophet |
| Christ died and rose again for sin | Jesus never died & was not crucified |
| Mission: Preach the gospel & make disciples | Mission: Conquer all nations for Allah |

Islam’s Founder Provides the Pattern
Muhammad’s life shifts in two phases:
-
Mecca (weak phase) — peaceful persuasion
-
Medina (power phase) — violence, conquest, decapitation of opponents
Later, violent revelations override earlier peaceful ones — forming Islam’s doctrine of abrogation.
Thus, when Muslims gain power, history shows that persecution and forced submission follow. Peace treaties are considered temporary deceptions until Islamic advantage is secured.
Islamic Law (Sharia) Rivals the U.S. Constitution
Pastor Paul points out that Sharia governs every part of life and is fundamentally incompatible with American liberty. A Muslim swearing an oath on a Quran cannot sincerely swear loyalty to the U.S. Constitution.
Goal of Global Domination
Islam divides the world into:
-
Dar al-Islam — land under Islamic rule
-
Dar al-Harb — land at war with Islam (including America)
Islamic leaders affirm: its nature is to dominate.
Mosques and Islamic monuments are intentionally built atop Christian and Jewish holy sites to visually declare, “Allah is greater.”
A Call to Biblical Clarity & Compassion
Islam is described as:
“a sociopolitical system that uses a deity to advance global conquest”
But Muslims themselves are not the enemy — they are people Jesus died to save. Christians must balance vigilance with evangelism.
Key Takeaways:
-
Islam is not peaceful and not compatible with Christianity
-
Global Islamic strategy is persistent and patient
-
The church must both warn and witness
-
We cannot compromise truth in the name of misguided tolerance
