Just three months ago, the world witnessed the assassination of Charlie Kirk for daring to publicly challenge the dominant lies of our culture. And last year, we watched as many Americans openly excused — and even raised money to defend — the cold-blooded murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
What we are witnessing is not merely political madness — it is the fruit of a nation that has abandoned biblical truth.
When a society rejects the sanctity of human life, denies God’s created order, and replaces truth with grievance and relativism, violence and chaos inevitably follow. That is why Illinois has even joined the growing number of states to embrace assisted suicide.
It is also why so many people have embraced a subversive agenda that demands we affirm absurd and unscientific claims about “gender” — denying the very reality God created.
This is why IFI’s mission has never been more urgent.
Every day, we work to alert, equip, and mobilize Christians in Illinois to stand for truth in the public square — on life, family, religious liberty, public safety, and the moral foundations that make freedom possible. Without that witness, darkness does not stand still. It advances. Scripture warns us:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
(Hosea 4:6)
If God’s people do not know His truth — and do not live by it — our culture will continue its dangerous descent.
