An Invitation To The Body of Christ In Illinois

Dear friends,

Across the nation, a movement is stirring. The National Nehemiah Alliance is calling believers into a 52-Day Rebuild – a season of prayer, fasting, and repentance from September 10 through November 1, 2026, coinciding with America’s 250th anniversary. Just as Nehemiah led the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls in 52 days, we believe God is calling His people today to rebuild what has been broken – first within our own lives and homes, and then our churches, communities and civil government. Here in Illinois, we are a part of that story.

The Illinois Nehemiah Alliance exists to unite believers across our state for this season of prayer.

Friday – October 2, 2026 – Noon – 1:30 PM with a reception to follow 1:30 – 3 PM – Crowne Plaza – Springfield, Illinois. The gathering is free but we are asking you to register to attend.

A Word for Illinois

“Consider your ways.” That’s what God said to His people through the prophet Haggai, when their priorities had drifted and what mattered most had been set aside (Haggai 1:5-7). Let’s take every opportunity to humble ourselves and receive God’s grace through His gift of repentance – which is the goodness of God giving us the chance to turn back before it’s too late.

The prophet Amos put it more urgently still: “Prepare to meet your God.” (Amos 4:12). God is not distant from Illinois. He is near, and He is asking us to consider our ways and return to Him.

We believe this is a moment for the body of Christ in our state to turn to Him with anticipation and hope of His grace, mercy and forgiveness.

For Pastors and Churches: Two Dates to Know

The National Nehemiah Alliance’s culminating event – a National Sacred Assembly – will be on the National Mall on Saturday, October 31, 2026, and will be livestreamed. It is a meaningful way for your church to be part of this moment. Pastors, please let us know by return email if you will be live-streaming the National Sacred Assembly at your church.

And on Sunday, November 1, 2026, churches nationwide are being asked to:

1. Recite the United Prayer for America (available on na52.org) together during your church service, and
2. Consider inviting your congregation to respond to a call for salvation as part of this national moment – many churches across the country will be doing the same that day.
