Christians and conservatives have rightly been fighting the radical gender ideology and critical race theory that are being implemented and taught in public schools across America.

However, a curriculum that has often fallen beneath the notice of many is the radical sex education that is alive and well in government schools.

In a move that largely went unnoticed by the media until a week later, President Trump made massive budget cuts to the “Teen Pregnancy Prevention” programs in government schools.

This program actually encourages rather than discourages sexual activity by teaching the use of contraception, and even offers the option of abortion.

Instead, the Administration is favoring curriculum that encourages abstinence and marriage.

The New York Times was, of course, lamenting this budget cut. How dare the President encourage lifelong commitment rather than a series of uncommitted flings in high school that come with a side of STDs and heartbreaks?

Very easily. The American people deserve to have their taxpayer dollars fund curriculum that encourage morality and healthy living.

The biggest reason for these budget cuts, according to the Administration, is that these “Teen Pregnancy Prevention” programs are “normalizing sexual activity for minors.”

And that’s what we have been warning for years.

Fifty-three programs ended up being cut completely, which is something to celebrate – saving the American people approximately $67 million.

For decades, the American people have spent millions upon millions of dollars funding curriculum that grooms children and encourages early sexual activity and addiction – all but guaranteeing a generation of abortion customers.

These budget cuts must absolutely be celebrated and supported by parents everywhere. It is not the government’s job to prepare your children for sexual activity.

Parents, it is your job to disciple your tweens and teens into developing a biblical understanding of marriage and sex. And it is your job to protect your teens from harmful ideologies that are alive and well in public schools.

While this is a win for taxpayer funded education, it is still a very good idea to unenroll your child this upcoming school year. There are still too many godless ideologies being taught to impressionable young minds.
