One Nation Under God began Freedom Night in 2020 when the Covid virus was the excuse to attack our most basic First Amendment freedoms.
This year’s Freedom Night will be on Tuesday, July 15 at the beautiful Bull Valley Golf Club in Woodstock, Illinois, which we hope will be more convenient for many of you. We are privileged to have Pastor and Doctor Shando Valdez, of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Chicago as our 2025 honoree.
Pastor of Pastors… Influential leader of more than 30,000 Hispanic Christian churches in the United States… Hispanic leader, boldly standing for Christian values in the battle to protect Religious Freedom in Illinois.
Pastor Shando Valdez has translated and produced Christian radio ads to reach Hispanic Americans on behalf of pro-life candidates across the United States.
Pastor Shando is also the host of the Total Living Networks’ first Spanish language series, Hablemos, a weekly half-hour television program that discusses current cultural issues from a Biblical perspective.
Pastor Shando has recently completed the translation of Wise Welcome into Spanish, which will be made available to pastors across the U.S.
Pastor Shando and his wife Lilliana have three adult children and eight grandchildren.
