For years, the Colson Center has been dedicated to not just encouraging a personal relationship with Jesus, but also challenging Christians to use the lens of Scripture to comprehend all of life.
According to founder Chuck Colson,
“Christianity is more than a relationship with Jesus. It is more than discipleship. It is a way of seeing and comprehending all reality.”
Because of the Colson Center’s dedication to the transformative power of the gospel, it launched the Identity Project, which is now available and free of charge.
The Identity Project gives you access to more than 200 videos and resources aimed at equipping Christians with biblical answers to questions surrounding identity, sexuality, and what it means to be made in the Image of God.
Resources like this are needed now more than ever.
In January of 2024, the Public Religion Research Institute conducted a survey comparing Generation Z to other generations.
According to NBC News, the study found:
“More than 1 in 4 Gen Z adults in the U.S. identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer, dwarfing the percentages of LGBTQ Americans in older age groups…
Twenty-eight percent of Gen Z adults — which the survey’s researchers specify as those ages 18 to 25 — identify as LGBTQ… That compares with 10% of all adults, 16% of millennials, 7% of Generation X, 4% of baby boomers and 4% of the Silent Generation…”
In addition to this, back in 2022, Harmony Healthcare found that a startling 42% of Generation Z have been diagnosed with some type of mental health condition and 57% are currently on medication for their mental health condition.
It is clearer than ever that my generation–Generation Z–is in the midst of an identity crisis.
Generation Z is searching for meaning, peace, and purpose.

Jesus says in John 10:10 (LSB),
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Life–abundant life–is only possible through a personal relationship with Jesus.
