A recent One America News article reported that a male athlete who goes by Sadie Schreiner “took first place in three women’s events at the Division III Liberty League championship meet.”

Riley Gaines, a former NCAA competitor for the University of Kentucky swim team commented on this recent development in an X post:

“Sadie Schreiner, male competing with the women, won the women’s 200 & 400m today at the Liberty League championship meet. He broke the 400m women’s record in the process. He would’ve finished last amongst the other boys by 2 full seconds. This is exactly why we’re suing the @NCAA.”

This madness is not contained to college sports. A Daily Citizen article reports that the invasion of female sports by males is happening in government schools all across the United States:

“Five West Virginia middle school girls who protested a male participating in their track and field competition have been banned from competing at a future meet. That’s right – girls are being banned from female athletics so boys can compete.”

In reality, no one should be surprised when males beat out female competitors.

God designed males to be biologically stronger than women. A Science Daily study notes that men have 75% more muscle mass and 90% more strength than females.

The science is clear and settled on this matter.

Now more than ever, Christians must be willing to affirm the truth that God created us to be either male or female, according to Genesis 1:27, and He has given us distinct characteristics, abilities, skills, and talents.

We are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image and likeness according to Psalm 139:14.

Sadly, women and girls are being erased on an even broader scale thanks to radical policies coming out of Washington.

Back in April of this year, the Biden Administration announced Title IX rule changes.

For reference, Title IX is part of the Education Amendments of 1972, which “protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance.”

Specifically, Title IX states:

No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

The Title IX changes “expand the definition of sex-based discrimination to include pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Additionally, the new regulations forbid discrimination and harassment based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics in federally funded education programs.”

Put simply, among other dangerous invasions in girls’ spaces, the changes in Title IX now allow for biological males to compete in female sports in public schools.

Not only are males allowed to compete, they are protected under the law from any type of push-back from teammates or coaches.

This situation is dire, but there are still glimmers of hope that some people are courageous enough to say “No” to these radical policies.

One of these is Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Governor of the beautiful state of Arkansas.

This was Governor Sanders’s response to Biden’s Title IX changes:

My message to Joe Biden and the federal government is that we will not comply. In a moment, I will sign an executive order reiterating our laws and instructing our educational institutions and the Arkansas Department of Education to follow them. And if President Biden threatens our state with loss of educational funding because we refuse to go along with his election year pandering, Arkansas will take the federal government to court.

Governor Sanders did, in fact, sign that executive order, becoming the first female governor to challenge Biden’s change to Title IX.

Thanks to people like Governor Sanders, injustice is being challenged and rejected. And when one stands up, it gives others the courage they need to also stand.

So, take heart– not all hope is lost.
