Summer is a critical time of the year financially for IFI.  Summer schedules often keep people busier than usual and some simply forget to make the contributions they planned to make.  Our work and our financial needs are a bit more intense during this time of year — as giving drops and gasoline prices make it more expensive to travel throughout the state.

This summer is particularly busy with many activites that we are involved in. So I’m asking for your help now, to continue to do this important work by becoming a $25, $50 or $100 per month Sustaining Partner.  (Click HERE for the mail-in Sustaining Partner form.)

A Time for Courage, Conviction, and Faithfulness

There are times when it seems Illinois is moving further and further away from God’s design for life, marriage, family, and religious liberty.

Each legislative session brings new attacks on parental rights, the sanctity of human life, and our freedom to live out the Christian faith. It would be easy to become discouraged by the ever-growing influence of government over our families.

But we are not discouraged.

Why? Because we have watched God work through faithful friends like you. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial support have enabled Illinois Family Institute to stand boldly for biblical truth for more than three decades.

By God’s grace, we have equipped churches, strengthened families, influenced public policy, mobilized thousands of Christians to pray and take action, and proclaimed biblical truth in places where it is seldom heard.

Our success is not measured only by bills defeated or passed laws. Often it means exposing dangerous legislation before it becomes law, slowing harmful proposals, equipping parents to protect their children, encouraging pastors to speak with courage, and alerting families to emerging threats before they arrive at their doorstep.

At our core, we believe that success in God’s eyes is defined by faithfulness and obedience. We rest in the truth that the ultimate battle belongs to Him.

As events in Illinois, our nation, and around the world continue to accelerate, people are searching for trustworthy news and analysis grounded in a biblical worldview. Working alongside some of today’s most respected Christian voices, we diligently monitor legislation in Springfield and Washington, D.C., and provide timely analysis through the lens of Scripture—helping believers respond with wisdom, discernment, and courage.

The cultural battle is, at its core, a spiritual battle. Yet our hope is secure because God is sovereign. As the Lord declared,

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh.
Is there anything too hard for Me?”
~Jeremiah 32:27

And the Apostle Paul reminds us:

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord,
knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
~1 Corinthians 15:58

Looking ahead, I believe some of the greatest challenges in IFI’s history are before us. We are expanding our communication efforts on social media, strengthening and focusing our educational outreach, and continuing to serve as a faithful Christian witness in Springfield and throughout Illinois.

One of IFI’s most exciting new ministries is Equipped! Through this initiative, we are preparing Christians across Illinois to confidently teach the sanctity of human life to children, teens, and adults. Our prayer is to raise up a new generation that treasures the God-given value of every human life and is equipped to reject the lies of our increasingly anti-life culture.

None of this is possible without faithful partners like you.

One of our greatest needs is to increase the number of Sustaining Partners—friends who faithfully invest $25 or $50 each month. Consistent monthly support enables us to expand our reach, respond quickly to new legislative and cultural challenges, and add much-needed staff as God provides.

Unlike many organizations, IFI doesn’t employ a professional fundraiser or fill your mailbox with monthly appeals. We choose instead to remain laser-focused on our mission:

Now more than ever, Christians must speak truth in the public square. We must proclaim Christ, expose evil, defend what is good and just, and equip Christians to stand firm in an increasingly hostile culture.

It really comes down to this:

Light versus darkness.

Truth versus lies.

Good versus evil.

While others seek to silence biblical truth through deception, intimidation, and ridicule, we will continue to stand with courage and conviction. We will continue defending life, marriage, family, parental rights, and religious liberty—but we cannot do it without you.
