LaSalle County’s anti-Sharia resolution misses the mark. We need enforceable laws that uphold the U.S. and Illinois Constitutions and protect everyone’s rights to due process and equal protection from foreign or religious tribunals.

The “21-point plan” for Gaza rewards terrorists, pressures Israel, and fast-tracks a “Palestinian state” before Hamas is defeated. America must stand firm with Israel and urge President Trump to reject this dangerous scheme and focus on Hamas’s total destruction.

But how does he know? On what basis did the president of the United States declare that a group of Muslims that calls itself the “Islamic State” is “not Islamic?”
