July 4^th is celebrated every year with fireworks, family barbecues, and enjoyment of freedom.

July 4, 2026, however, is being marked as an ominous and dark day in the pro-life community.

Back in July 4, 2025, President Trump signed his “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” into law. In this Act, federal Medicaid reimbursements for non-profit health clinics (which includes Planned Parenthood) were blocked for one year. This blockage will expire on July 4, 2026.

In other words, Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion mill in the United States, will once again receive federal funding– your tax dollars.

While defunding Planned Parenthood is not the same as outlawing abortion, it is nonetheless extremely effective in the fight for life.

Just recently, Planned Parenthood published a press release detailing the harms that their organization has suffered because of the lack of Title X funds.

Since the beginning of this year, nearly 50 Planned Parenthood centers have had to close their doors because of the lack of taxpayer dollars.

Planned Parenthood, of course, mourns this as a loss for health care.

Those of us who know better celebrate this as 50 fewer facilities that will be involved in child sacrifice. Fifty communities that no longer have an abortion mill.

July 4, 2026, will be America’s 250^th birthday.

This coming July 4^th, the best way that you can celebrate your freedom as a Christian and as an American citizen is by asking your Representatives in Congress to restrict Planned Parenthood’s access to Title X funds.

As Benjamin Franklin once remarked,

“Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom…”

True freedom is not the ability to do whatever one’s desires or passions lead one to.

True freedom is doing what is right.

True freedom comes with responsibility.

Christian, your duty as a believer and as an American citizen is to urge your elected officials to protect life.

Urge Congress to Defund Planned Parenthood today.
