Did We Forget?
By Rev. James McDonald   |   01.26.19
There are two dates on my mind today. The first is January 22, 1973, the day the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Roe v. Wade, opening the door for virtually unlimited abortion on demand. Since that day, over 61 million...
Let’s Not Pray for What We Deserve
By Rev. James McDonald   |   01.25.16
There is no doubt about it, many of us are hoping that 2016 will bring real change. Remembering back to the mantras of 2008, there were those who were anticipating “hope and change.” However, what we have seen over the...

Rev. James McDonald

James McDonald, husband to Stacy, father of ten (five married), and grandfather of ten, is a retired minister living in Central Illinois. He enjoys strong coffee and what some consider to be odd food – from anything Cajun to shark, crawfish, sushi, elk, ostrich, the list goes on and on. Thankfully, his wife Stacy is a wonderful cook, who could make card board taste like bruschetta.

James and his family moved to Central Illinois in 2006 from Southeast Texas, going to the Land of Lincoln to serve a church in Morton. The McDonald family lives on two acres of heaven in the middle of nowhere Illinois, where they spend their spare time adventuring in the woods and corn fields, reading good books, and these days trying to stay warm.
