We would like to invite you a time of prayer observance on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the Capitol Complex Visitor’s Center in Springfield.

Illinois Family Institute is partnering with State Senator Chris Balkema (R-Pontiac) and the Illinois Prayer Caucus Network to gather pastors, elected officials, and believers from across the state.

Together, we will seek God’s face, pray for our leaders and families, and ask Him for forgiveness, mercy, healing, and revival in our land.

There has never been a more urgent time for God’s people to pray. Scripture calls us to intercede for those in authority and to humble ourselves before the Lord. As Watchman Nee once said, “Our prayers lay the track down which God’s power can come.”

This gathering will include focused prayer for our state, our nation, and our families—the foundation of our communities. We will come together in humility, confess our sins, and ask the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of our leaders and our neighbors.
