This past Friday evening, Illinois Family Institute hosted our annual Faith, Family & Freedom Banquet featuring Riley Gaines Barker.

Riley Barker’s personal testimony of courage was deeply inspiring for all generations, and the turnout of the banquet confirmed something that I think we already know.

There are more conservatives in the blue state of Illinois than people might think.

We also welcomed many first-time attendees: people who have lived in Illinois for years, but had never heard of Illinois Family Institute before.

Especially in the wake of the Illinois Senate’s passage of SB1950, the Physician-Assisted Suicide bill, now, more than ever, we must strengthen our unity and stay connected.

While I have written many articles warning of the dangers of social media for minors, this is not to discount the value that social media has when believers use it to encourage, connect, and inform one another.

Illinois Family Institute has been on the front lines of the culture fight in Illinois for decades: fighting for faith, family, and freedom.

Our mission stays the same because are call as believers has never changed:

“Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.” – Proverbs 24:11

We take our call to warn, to implore, to encourage, and to rescue very seriously. That is why we further invite you to connect with us.

Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, X (Formerly Twitter), YouTube, and Rumble.

And sign up for our E-Alerts so that you never miss a Call to Action.

Now, more than ever, we need to stand together and stay connected.
